Wolfenstein: The New Order Deathsheads Compound is the first chapter in the videogame developed by MachineGames and introduces the protagonist of the game, B.J. Blazkowicz.
It also helps players to familiarize with the game mechanics.
The year is 1946, and in order to have a chance at winning the war against the Nazis a group of soldiers is sent to attack the known location of a general called Deathshead, who developed a lot of the machines used by Nazi soldiers.
There are many types of collectibles in Wolfenstein: The New Order that can earn you up to seven achievements / trophies.
There are 72 Enigma Codes fragments, 50 Gold pieces and 10 Letters.
Aside from that you can collect 16 Maps that reveal the surroundings in every chapter, 3 Records so you can listen to some of the music used in the game, 10 Health Upgrades, and 10 Armor Upgrades.
The Health and Armor upgrades cannot be collected in one playthrough, meaning you have to play the game in both timelines that are based on a choice you have to make at the end of Chapter 1.
However, once you acquire any of the collectibles the game saves the progress regardless if you die or you dont hit a checkpoint.
Moreover, in most of the chapters you will encounter Commanders that can reveal the collectibles on the in-game map if killed stealthy.
Wolfenstein: The New Order Chapter 1 is a lengthy mission that features a lot of hidden collectibles that can be easily overlooked. Use the next collectibles guide to get them all in your first playthrough.

Once you reach the shore you need to go in the enemy trenches and blow up the machine gun nest. After that you follow the trenches until you reach the second nest, where the machine gun is inactive (leftmost point on your map).
The Map of the area can be found on some crates right next to the machine gun.
Enigma Code #1 (Piece 1:1)
You have two choices on how to infiltrate the bunker. Grab the explosives and blow the large door thats nearby. As soon as you enter turn right and head inside the small room to find the first Enigma Code.
Map #2
Follow the train tracks and at the turn go left, inside a storage room. You can find the bunker map on a shelf at the back of the room.
Gold #1 (Gold Medal)

At the end of the tracks you can find an opened vent behind the crates. Get inside the morgue and pick up the Gold piece from the table thats next to the locked metal door.

The floor on this corridor is broken. Instead of using the planks to get on the other side drop through the hole and grab the Enigma Code collectible thats on the crate.
