Have you ever wondered if there is a working method to cheat in Pokémon Go? I’m quite confident you did, especially if your trainer has reached a high level, when gaining XP requires a lot of work.
Did you ever heard of the mobile game named Farm Heroes Saga? Probably not. It’s a match 3 video game developed by King.
Now you probably ask yourself what these two games have in common. Well, the answer is this. You can cheat both Pokémon Go and Farm Heroes Saga using a similar method.
So, there you have it. The answer to the first question is Yes!
You can cheat Pokémon Go without having to visit all those underground websites, which require you to download more games, watch ads, or God knows what they came out with these days.
To save you some time searching, I will explain below how to get fast XP in Pokémon Go; however, before going forward there are several things you should know.
First of all, the screenshots you see below were captured while playing Pokémon Go on my device, and at this point I can’t tell if this cheat is forbidden or not. I guess I will see that in the upcoming days.
Second, the method is based on a glitch, that might be patched in the future by Niantic. So try to use it while it’s still available.
And third, I have tried this method on an iPhone 5s, and I can’t tell you for sure it will also work on Android. Although I’m quite confident it does.
Great now, so let’s see what you need and what you have to do in order to get that XP you need to level up faster in Pokémon Go.
A smartphone with Pokémon Go installed on it – Because yeah, you can’t play it otherwise.
1 Lucky Egg – You can get one by leveling up your trainer.
1 Incense – Same as the Lucky Egg. Level up.
Your trainer’s level must be at least 5 – Because that’s when you get the first Lucky Egg.
A lot of free time – The more you have the better.
An external battery – The bigger it is the better.
An awesome spot between PokéStops – Do you know where all people gather in your town to spend some quality time with their Pokémons? Yes, that’s the spot you should visit, because they stay there for a reason.
Lure – Optional, but it makes things more interesting.
If you have all these, you are ready to go. Here is what you need to do.
Charge your phone and external battery, just to make sure you won’t have to go back home too soon.
Pack your things and head to a place where you have access to at least 2 PokeStops without having to move too much. If you are lucky enough to have them near your house…well…take a sit on your couch.
The reason for staying close to several PokéStops is simple. You will have enough PokéBalls and you will also get additional XP while harvesting them.
If you have some Lure (which is optional), you can also place it to attract more Pokémons, although usually you will not be alone there and other players might place their Lures for you.
Open the Pokémon Go app and activate the Lucky Egg and the Incense. As you probably know, the Lucky Egg doubles the XP you gain, while the Incense attracts all nearby Pokémons.
In the picture, you can see that I activated only the Lucky Egg, since I ran out of Incense. But the cheating method is the same.
What’s more important is for you to notice that it was activated at 10:18 AM.
So, with both the Incense and the Lucky Egg activated for the next 30 minutes, you can start hunting Pokémons, harvest the PokéStops, upgrade your existing Pokémons, and perform any action that gives you XP, because right now you are getting double.
You can also have a friendly chat with the boy/girl next to you, or enjoy the sun; however, make sure that you keep an eye on the clock and whatever you do, don’t let the Lucky Egg and the Incense expire!
When the time is almost out for your Lucky Egg and Incense, exit the app and head to your phone’s settings.
Your goal is to turn back the time but keep in mind two things.
First you need to disable the option that sets the date and time automatically. This step is extremely important, and below you can see how to do it on an iPhone. For Android, the steps should be similar.
Go to Settings, and then go to General.
Next, access Date & Time.
Now Turn Off the button next to Set Automatically, just as you see in the gallery below.
Once you disable this option, you will have to set the time manually and roll it back, but make sure you Do Not exceed the time that passed since you activated the Lucky Egg and the Incense.
As an example, if you use this method 10 minutes after you activate the Lucky Egg and the Incense, make sure you turn back the time by 9 minutes. Never by 11.
The first picture below, shows that I have only 9 minutes left until my Lucky Egg expires. Notice that the clock shows 10:39 AM.
The second picture shows that in my phone’s settings I rolled back the time by 10 minutes.
Therefore, as you can see in the third picture, my Lucky Egg will continue to stay active for an additional 10 minutes plus the 9 minutes I had left. That’s a total of 19.
Also notice that my phone’s clock shows that it’s 10:29 AM, since at 10:39 AM I turned back the time by 10 minutes.
There you go! Now you have additional time to enjoy the Double XP bonus offered by the Lucky Egg and you can continue to harvest PokéStops, catch Pokémons attracted by your trainer’s Incense, or upgrade the Pokemons you already have.
When you are close to running out of time, simply repeat the whole process, which will eventually result in having an unlimited bonus from the Lucky Egg, and unlimited Incense.
One thing you have to remember though, is to turn back on the option that sets the date and time automatically on your device when you are done playing, or you might be late for work or school. Or you can let the Insta-PokéGo Bot play the game for you.
