The complete list of Lego Marvel Super Heroes playable characters includes over 150 heroes and villains from the Marvel universe, all of them being revealed below.
While most playable characters in Lego Marvel Super Heroes are available on all versions of the video game, some superheroes and villains can be accessed only as DLC characters. Lego Marvel Super Heroes is an action-adventure video game published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and developed by TT Games for PC, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
The action in Lego Marvel Super Heroes takes place in a Lego version of New York City, where S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury summons all Marvel superheroes to find the Cosmic Bricks.
The Cosmic Bricks form the board used by Silver and they have unlimited power; therefore, Doctor Doom along with other villains are also looking for them. Dooms plan is to create a super weapon and use the “Doom Ray of Doom to take over the world, helped by Magneto and Loki.
The gameplay in Lego Marvel Super Heroes retains all elements from the previous games of the franchise, such as Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes and Lego The Lord of the Rings. Players control their favorite characters from a top-down perspective, and use their skills to collect studs and to solve puzzle.
Players are allowed to switch between the characters they have unlocked in order to mix their abilities and skills. Stan Lee co-creator of multiple Marvel Comics heroes also appears in the video game, as a playable character.
Stan Lees abilities in Lego Marvel Super Heroes are similar to those used by some of the characters he created, allowing him to transform into a green creature, or to sustain additional damage because of his adamantium skeleton.
While exploring the world of Lego Marvel Super Heroes, players can unlock 45 achievements and trophies, and can access a large number of buildings, all of them featuring different stories narrated by Deadpool.
