The complete Just Dance Kids 2014 tracklist includes more than 30 songs which have been confirmed before the games official release.
Unlike the tracks from Just Dance 2014, the songs featured in Just Dance Kids 2014 have been selected for a younger audience; therefore, the tracklist includes multiple kid-friendly titles such as “Hit The Lights” by Selena Gomez and The Scene, “One Thing” by One Direction and “Vivir Mi Vida” by Marc Anthony.
While some songs in the game were also featured in other Just Dance titles, most tracks are cover versions that make their debut in the video game developed by Land Ho!.
Just Dance Kids 2014 is the third video game in the Kids Series of the Just Dance franchise, following Just Dance Kids released in 2010 and Just Dance Kids 2 released in 2011.
The games release date was set for October 22, 2013, being published by Ubisoft.
Just Dance Kids 2014 retains a series of gameplay elements which are also available in Just Dance 2014.
On Wii U for example, the Dance Director Mode is similar to the Party Master Mode featured in Just Dance 2014, where one player is the leader, being allowed to change the songs on which other players dance.
The leader can also change the moves that must be performed by dancers, and can award points at the end of a contest.
While the Dance Director Mode is available only on Wii U, on Xbox 360 players have access to Just Create Mode, being allowed to develop their own dancing routines and moves, and challenge their friends to repeat them.
Another feature introduced by developers is the Parents Corner, which allows parents to monitor the calories burned by their kids during a dance, and to customize the playlists in the game.
On Xbox 360, players can unlock 50 Just Dance Kids 2014 achievements with a total of 1000 Gamerscore Points.
