Capcom is one of the greatest developers and publishers in the world, there is no question about this; and their recently announced Resident Evil 7 was one of the “big games” revealed at Sony’s E3 2016 Press Conference.

Resident Evil is one of the franchises that helped Capcom become the company that it is today, and it is only normal to see Capcom paying close attention to their latest installment in the series.

The free Resident Evil 7 demo provided by Capcom and Sony was also well received by fans around the world. If we add the fact that Resident Evil 7 will be playable in VR, thanks to Sony’s PS VR, then it’s easy to say that Capcom is sitting on a gold mine.

So, what do you do when you have a great game from an awesome franchise, ready to run on the latest hardware?

You work on promoting it in the smartest way possible.

And that’s exactly what Capcom is doing with Resident Evil 7.

As you know the game’s full name is Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, but in Japan it’s Biohazard 7: Resident Evil.

Take a look at the cover pictures below and the logo Capcom is using.

Did you notice the 7 (VII)? Smart move right?

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is set to release January 24, 2017 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The company also announced that Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will receive three DLC packs, all of them being released throughout 2017.
