In the Street Fighter series of video games, Rose is the first Italian fighter introduced by Capcom, and the third playable female character.
Rose debuted in Street Fighter Alpha and she is a fortune teller born in Genoa, Italy.
Rose has violet hair, black eyes and she weights 119 lbs. One of her hobbies is to read Tarot cards, a passion that eventually reveals the reason for which she must enter the fighting tournament in SSF4.
While reading the cards, Rose finds out that Bison survived Akuma’s finishing attack during the World Warrior Tournament.
The cards also reveal that the only fighter capable to stop Bison is “The Fool” (Tarot card), and Rose must protect him until he is ready to face the Dictator.
During the game, Rose meets Ryu and she identifies him as “The Fool”.
Rose fights Bison to accomplish her mission, but at the end she is defeated. Guy runs forward to help her and makes a deal with Bison, trading the Dictator’s jet for Rose’s life.
Rose can also be accessed as a playable character in SSF4 Arcade Edition, and she can execute all the moves listed below.
