Nintendo 3DS XL Pikachu Yellow Edition for North America will cost around $200 and it will not include any games or extras.
If you ask yourself why the 3DS and why now, well, according to Nintendo, during last year’s fourth quarter, the company sold over 4.5 million copies of video games for 3DS, Pokémon Sun and Moon being a top performer.
Since this impressive number is for US only, it is safe to assume that Nintendo’s presence is quite strong on the American market.
Nintendo 3DS XL Pikachu Yellow Edition US Version will be cheaper than the Asian version available right now on Amazon for $309.00, so we suggest you to wait until the handheld arrives in US.
The company also announced that it will continue to support the 3DS with new games, such as Mario Sports Superstars, and a new Pikmin video game.
Mario Sports Superstars, will also be released on February 24, 2017, and if you decide to buy the US version of Nintendo 3DS XL Pikachu Yellow Edition, you can pre-order the game on Amazon for $39.99.
Additionally, you can also buy the Nintendo Mario Sports Superstars Amiibo Cards Pack when it becomes available on Amazon.
The pack contains 5 Nintendo 3DS Amiibo Cards and should cost $25 or less, because Nintendo confirmed that it intends to sell each Amiibo Card for $5.
Last but not least, Nintendo also announced that Kirby Triple Deluxe and Mario and Luigi: Dream Team will become part of Nintendo Selects list of games.
This means that starting February, they will cost $20, instead of $29.95 and $42.90 respectively.
