Latest Transformers The Last Knight TV Spot Looks Spectacular

A new TV Spot for Transformers: The Last Knight was released by Paramount Pictures and it looks awesome.

While it is only 19 seconds long, the TV spot is filled with action-packed footage worthy of a movie of this genre.

The first scene is sword dropping… I mean jaw dropping. The soldier that doesn’t even flinch when the Transformer hits the ground with his giant sword it’s probably Lt. Colonel William Lennox, played by Josh Duhamel.

Immediately after we see Mark Wahlberg’s character Cade Yeager, who was also in Transformers: Age of Extinction, wielding a futuristic gun. Maybe he will explore Transformers’ home planet of Cybertron – or something that looks like it – later in the movie.

The “silence” is then broken by a little girl who wants to join the fight. Bang, bang! More explosions, and a small cut featuring both Lennox and Cade.

After that you can hear Anthony Hopkins’ voice on the background and even catch a glimpse of his character Sir Edmund Burton if you’re fast enough.

He recently starred in HBO’s hit Westworld, a series that we here at VGfaq greatly appreciated and can’t wait to see more of it.

But what’s with that odd-looking planet that it seems to swallow our Moon? I guess we’ll have to wait and go see the movie to find out.

Soon after we catch a quick glimpse of Optimus Prime, and then the money shoot: Bumblebee destroying a robot that looks like it came straight from Metal Gear Solid.

While I’m not a huge fan of the series I’m eager to see what Michael Bay has in store for us, considering the last Transformers movies were mediocre. You can have the greatest action shots and spectacular visual effects, but if the story sucks, the movie will too.

Transformers: The Last Knight is set to be released in theaters on June 23, 2017.

Until then, you can check some gameplay footage from the Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark videogame.

Or if you want to be put up to speed with the movie franchise so far, you can buy the Transformers 1-4 Blu-ray box-set (4-movie collection) on Amazon for $22.75.

If you like collecting stuff like I do, you can opt for the Transformers: Age of Extinction Limited Edition Gift Set with Grimlock and Optimus Collectible Statue, which currently sells for $18.99. Not a bad price if you ask me.
