The Gears of War 4 Act V collectibles revealed below, are the last you can acquire in the video game developed by The Coalition and published by Microsoft.
There are 4 story chapters in Act V and the same number of Gears of War 4 collectibles. Thus, Act V has the lowest number of collectibles in the entire game.
Moreover, you can search for collectibles in only 3 of these chapters. Out of the four collectibles, one is a COG Tag.
After escaping the Swarmak, JD and Marcus lead the team back to the town, where First Minister Jinn confesses that she knows the Outsiders weren’t responsible for the abductions, but their conversation is ended abruptly.
The squad decides to get on the offense and they use the radio tower to call for backup, but while waiting they have to use a Fabricator to defend against the Swarm forces.
When help arrives we find out that they are none other than Marcus’ old squad, Baird, Cole and Sam, who didn’t come empty handed. They brought two giant mechs which more likely will be very useful during the final battle.
Since there are only few Gears of War 4 collectibles to be found in Act V, we have created the following collectibles guide to help those who wish to get them in a single playthrough, without the risk of overlooking them in the heat of the battle.
Also, don’t forget to check the video at the end of the text guide or the Gears of War 4 playlist from YouTube for even more guides, achievements, and even a full walkthrough for the game.
ACT V: Chapter 1 – Convergence
COG Tag – H. Pham
After you defeat the Pouncers at the beginning of the chapter you have to cut through a locked gate to reach a courtyard with a statue. There is another large battle that takes place here, but you can ignore it for the moment.
Hug the wall to your right to find an alleyway. Follow it until you hit a dead end and pick up the COG Tag next to the corpse.
It is the last COG Tags collectible in Gears of War 4 and if you followed our complete guide you should unlock the Remember the Fallen achievement.
Work Stoppage Order
A bit later in the chapter you enter the Centaur vehicle factory. Cut across the room but don’t go up to the catwalk yet. Instead, check the far right corner of the area to find the “Electrical Room”.
The collectible is inside, sitting on top of the old computer console.
ACT V: Chapter 2 – Killing Time
Speyer Scavenger List
After successfully defending the radio tower follow the waypoint until you drop down on top of a van and into an alleyway.
Head along the path and under an archway, then turn right to see a small garage. The Gears of War 4 collectible is on the workbench inside.
ACT V: Chapter 3 – Gate Crashers
There are no collectibles in this chapter.
ACT V: Chapter 4 – Release
The last Gears of War 4 Act V collectible, which is also the last one in the game, is different than the rest because you don’t have to find it. It is automatically given to you during the final cutscene, and if you have found all other collectibles in the game following our guides, then you will unlock the Completist achievement during the end credits.
Don’t forget to check the necklace collectible in the War Journal section of the Main Menu to see if you understand the reference and the ending of Gears of War 4.
