Forza Horizon 3 Barn Finds Rumors are related to the game’s story and progress, meaning that their locations become available only after you reach specific points while driving your way towards the last racing event.
Similar to the Barn Finds from other Forza Horizon video games, the Barn Finds in Forza Horizon 3 hide a series of unique cars, usually classic models.
The latest Forza Horizon video game developed by Playground Games for PC and Xbox One, includes 15 Barn Finds and with the help of our video and the hints below, you will be able to find all of them faster and unlock the Relic Hunter achievement.
Furthermore, for your convenience we also created a unique Forza Horizon 3 Barn Finds map, or Barn Finds Treasure Map, showing all locations for these collectibles.
But before we move forward, let’s see what are these Barn Finds, and what you have to do to locate them.
Unlike the Beauty Spots locations which can be visited the moment you reach the first Horizon Festival, for Barn Finds you have to progress through the game. This means that you need to open new Festivals, expand those you already unlocked, win races, etc…
When you reach such a point in the game, you will be notified by the DJ from your favorite Radio Station, that he heard a rumor about a Barn Find. These are simply known as Barn Find Rumors.
After you trigger a Barn Find Rumor, if you open your map, you will see a large area marked on it. This is the area you have to investigate in order to find a hidden Forza Horizon 3 Barn Find.
If you don’t know what a Barn Find is, well…as the name implies it’s just a barn, a small building usually used to store various items, or in this case, cars.
While finding these buildings may look like an easy task, some of the Barn Finds in Forza Horizon 3 can be quite challenging if you don’t know where to search.
So, in order to help you, we have created the following Forza Horizon 3 Barn Finds guide. Our goal is to show all Barn Finds in Forza Horizon 3, and to explain where to look for them.
Along with the map above we also created a video guide which you can see below. If you follow our map and the said video, you will find all Forza Horizon 3 Barn Finds collectibles in no time.
After you locate a Barn Find you will unlock the car inside which will be restored and added to your garage. Additionally you will receive XP points, although the amount is lower than the XP points you receive for finding an XP Reward Board.
Barn Find Rumor 1 – Ferrari Dino 246 GT – 1969
The first Forza Horizon 3 Barn Find Rumor is triggered after you expand the second Horizon Festival to level 2.
The location of the Barn Find, as you can see in the video is south-east of Dry Reservoir and east of Kiewa Valley.
After you reach the location, open the barn to find a beautiful red Ferrari Dino 246 GT from 1969.
Barn Find Rumor 2 – Holden HQ Monaro GTS 350 – 1973
Another Barn Find can be found in the area west of Dry Reservoir.
Use the video, or our map to get to the exact location and inside the barn a 1973 Holden HQ Monaro GTS 350 will be waiting for you.
Barn Find Rumor 3 – Reliant Supervan III – 1972
A third Barn Find can be located in the southern part of the Outback area.
If you follow the video below, you will find a 1972 Reliant Supervan III.
The Barn can be found east of Redstone Airport and it is quite easy to locate.
Barn Find Rumor 4 – Dodge Charger Daytona Hemi – 1969
Continue to play more races, and expand your Horizon Festivals to trigger the fourth Barn Find Rumor which will send you once again to the Outback area.
Inside the barn (see the location in the video below or on our map), you will discover a Dodge Charger Daytona Hemi from 1969.
Barn Find Rumor 5 – Lamborghini LM 002 – 1986
Inside the fifth Forza Horizon 3 Barn Find you will find a beautiful Lamborghini LM 002 from 1986.
The barn is located in Yarra Valley, south west from Surfers City, and north-east from Rainforest.
Barn Find Rumor 6 – Maserati A6GCS/53 Pininfarina Berlinetta – 1953
The sixth Barn Find is in the southern area of Kiewa Valley, while the rumor is triggered by playing additional races.
Inside the barn you will find a Maserati A6GCS/53 Pininfarina Berlinetta.
Barn Find Rumor 7 – Meyers Manx – 1971
As you explore Yarra Valley, you may hear a Barn Find Rumor on your radio station, if you progressed enough through the game.
After you trigger the rumor, check the location in the video below or on our map, and you will discover a 1971 Meyers Manx.
The car is located south from the fifth Barn Find.
Barn Find Rumor 8 – Ferrari 166MM Barchetta – 1948
The eighth Forza Horizon 3 Barn find is also located in Yarra Valley, in the northern section. Look for it south of Westpoint Tower and north west of Surfers Paradise.
Inside the barn you will find a Ferrari 166MM Barchetta from 1948. Make sure you collect it as soon as possible because this car requires a lot of time to be restored.
Barn Find Rumor 9 – Ford XB Falcon GT – 1973
Inside the ninth Forza Horizon 3 Barn Find is a Ford XB Falcon GT from 1973.
The barn is in the northern part of the Outback area, and south of Coober Pedy, just several miles away from the Outback Festival you will have to open.
Barn Find Rumor 10 – Holden Sandman HQ Panel Van – 1974
Another Holden, but this time the Sandman model is inside the tenth Barn Find from Forza Horizon 3.
The barn can be seen in the starting area known as Rainforest, north west from Byron Bay and the first Horizon Festival.
The barn is well hidden in the forest, so if you encounter difficulties in finding it, use our video guide below to pinpoint its exact location.
Barn Find Rumor 11 – Nissan Skyline GT-R V-SPEC – 1993
If you wish to drive a Nissan Skyline GT-R from 1993 in Forza Horizon 3, then you have to find the 11th barn.
As you can see on the map above, the Barn Find containing this car, is several streets away from the previous one. Look for it in the Rainforest area.
Barn Find Rumor 12 – Toyota FJ40 – 1979
The 1979 Toyota FJ40 is hidden inside the 12th Barn Find from Forza Horizon 3. After you trigger the rumor, look for it in the upper left corner of your map.
The Barn Find is in the Outback area, north east from the Pink Lakes and north west from Coober Pedy.
Barn Find Rumor 13 – Jaguar MK II 3.8 – 1959
The beautiful Jaguar MK II in the picture below is your reward for finding the 13th Barn Find.
Look for the barn in the Rainforest area, north from the first Horizon Festival, and the Great Ocean Road.
It is also well hidden, so use the video guide if you can’t find it.
Barn Find Rumor 14 – Ford Super Deluxe Station Wagon – 1946
West from the previous Barn Find and in the middle of the Rainforest you will find the Ford Super Deluxe Station Wagon.
The 1946 classic model is inside the 14th Barn Find, which can also be observed on our map above.
Barn Find Rumor 15 – Holden 50-2106 FX UTE – 1951
The final Barn Find in the game contains a Holden 50-2106 FX UTE.
You will find it in the Outback area, north-east from Parkes Satellite Array. The barn is very close to the large satellite dishes.
After you collect all cars you also have to restore them in order to unlock the corresponding achievement.
The whole restoration process takes time; therefore, you should look for these Barn Finds, the moment you hear the rumors on your radio stations. Turning off the radio while driving will not affect the Barn Find Rumors, and you will still get the notifications from the DJs.
The Forza Horizon 3 cars you collect from Barn Finds are not expensive, but they are free and they represent pieces of history from a time that is gone.
Auctioning them is not the best idea because these are unique cars you won’t be able to find anywhere else.
