Hey, Work’s on in the Mines! is a Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition side-quest, you can complete while playing the second chapter of the game, if you ally with Iorveth.
Hey, Work’s on in the Mines! is a short quest similar to The Nekker Contract side-quest featured in the first act. To finish it, you must collapse three passages used by Rotfiends in the mines near Vergen.
This specific side-quest should be completed while exploring the mines in order to find the dwarven immortelle, needed to save Saskia.
Quest Description
The people of Vergen had worked in the nearby mines from time immemorial. Their excavation was halted, however, once monsters began multiplying there. How happy must the elder, Cecil Burdon, have been when a witcher arrived at his town.
The dwarf promised a hefty reward for clearing the beasts out from the underground tunnels.

Walkthrough
The objective of the side quest is clear. You must find three tunnels in the mine and collapse them. To collapse a passage you must approach it and press A. To locate the first passage, open your map and you will see a tunnel to the south, near the mines entrance. It is a dead end, and the passage is behind Balins highlighted corpse.
Another passage can be found at the end of the another tunnel (also a dead-end), to the north. Make sure you destroy it on your way to the dwarven immortelle.
The final passage is located in the tunnel where you find the dwarven immortelle; however be careful because you will have to fight a Bullvore.
Combat Tip: The creature is accompanied by several Rotfiends. Their explosions will also damage the Bullvore.
Take them out first, then step back so you can avoid their poison. After the last Rotfiend dies, use the Yrden Sign to trap the Bullvore and then use heavy sword attacks to finish him off.
Destroy the last passage, and if you finished the Subterranean Life main-quest exit the mine. Talk to Cecil Burdon in Vergen to complete the side-quest named Hey, Work’s on in the Mines!
