Sega’s Sonic Mania Collector’s Edition Releases 2017 And It’s Gorgeous

Originally announced by Sega in July 2016 at San Diego Comic-Con, Sonic Mania will be released in Spring 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Along with the digital version of the game, Sega also revealed a beautiful Sonic Mania Collector’s Edition which includes various items and a Sonic statue.

As of September 17, 2016, Sonic Mania Collector’s Edition can be pre-ordered for PCPS4 and Xbox One, from Amazon.

It costs $69.99, but be advised that it will be available for a limited time only, according to sonicthehedgehog.com.

Inside the Sega Genesis style Collector’s Box you will find the following items:

– A small Metallic Collector’s Card which contains the download code for Sonic Mania.

– A Sega Cartridge Cast with one of the Golden Rings you have to collect in most Sonic video games.

– A 12″ statue showing Sonic standing on a Sega Genesis The console features a power button allowing you to turn it on and off. Once turned on, you will be able to hear the familiar Sega startup jingle. It is the same jingle you can hear at the beginning of the video below.
