Forza Horizon Barn Finds can also be considered hidden collectibles, along with Dak’s Discount Signs. Fans of the racing video games published by Microsoft Studios, can locate nine Forza Horizon Barn Finds; however, these collectibles have different requirements.
Just like Discount Signs, the Barn Finds are included in the Forza Horizon Treasure Map that can be purchased with Tokens; but players who wish to save their Tokens, can use the guide and the maps below to locate all Forza Horizon Barn Finds faster.
As the name implies, a Barn Find, is in fact a hidden barn that contains a Forza Horizon car, which once found, it will be added to the players personal garage.
What makes these vehicles different than the rest, is the fact that all of them are classic cars, and must be restored by Dak.
A Forza Horizon Barn Find must be triggered by a Barn Find Rumor at the local radio stations, featured in the game. When a Barn Find Rumor is activated, players should open their maps and look for the area where the barn is located.
The same method is used for the Barn Finds in Forza Horizon 3.
These collectables are hard to find, because the map only shows the surrounding areas, without pinpointing the exact location of the barn; thus players must find the exact buildings.
Using the maps below, as well as the hints provided, Forza Horizon players can find the exact location of each Barn Find hidden by developers, and the rewards they will receive with Dak’s help; however, several facts must be mentioned regarding these collectibles.
Unlike the Discount Signs in the game, to activate a Barn Find Rumor, players must advance through the game, by completing events. This includes gaining popularity, winning festival events, street races, showcases and star showdowns.
Additionally, players must constantly move from one area to another. For example, the last Forza Horizon Barn Find Rumor, is activated after players reach a game completion rate of over 90%, but only if players travel to Beaumont, where the barn is located.
The first Forza Horizon Barn Finds are triggered earlier in the game, but later, players must complete as many races/events as possible. Players should also be aware, because a Forza Horizon Barn Find car is usually hard to locate, since these barns are similar to other buildings.
Moreover, in order to get the car inside a hidden barn, players must stand in front of the building, close enough to trigger the corresponding cutscenes.
In other words, driving near a barn is not enough to get the car hidden inside it. When a Forza Horizon hidden car is located, Dak shows up to pick it up, and takes it to his garage.
Later, players will receive a phone call from him, regarding the cars restoration. At this point, players must return to the garage and claim their prizes.
