The Royal Conservatory, which is the fifth mission in Dishonored 2, is available after you rescue Anton Sokolov and you decide Jindosh’s faith in Mission 4.
While held captive, Anton Sokolov learned the identity of one of Delilah’s allies, a powerful woman named Breanna Ashworth, who is the Curator of the Royal Conservatory in Karnaca.
Currently she’s building a strange occult device for Delilah, named The Oraculum. Because of this, Breanna Ashworth must be eliminated.
The Royal Conservatory building is in the Cyria Gardens district. While the area isn’t fairly large, it is filled with many dangers given the addition of new enemy types like Witches, Bloodbriars, or even Gravehounds.

Mission 5 – The Royal Conservatory Collectibles Locations
Rune #1
The first Dishonored 2 Mission 5 Rune can be bought from the local black market shop. It is across the canal from where you start the mission, in an alleyway above the boat that is docked.
Bonecharm #1
Disable the Wall of Light by the gates that lead into the next area, then head inside the apartment building to the right. Go to the bar on the second floor to find a Bonecharm on a table.
Outsider Shrine #1, Rune #2, #3
Exit the bar and use the door at the end of the stairs to access the back entrance of the building. Now Blink/Far Reach onto the balcony of the building ahead.
Disable the traps and use the collapsed ceiling to reach the next floor in order to find the Outsider Shrine which gives you two Runes.
Bonecharm #2
Start from the Wall of Light and go inside the same building as before, this time on the third floor. Make a right under the wooden roof and jump on the balcony of the condemned building.
Destroy the Bloodfly nests and then grab the Corrupt Bonecharm that’s on the floor, between the large safe and the desk.
Painting #1
Hung above the desk mentioned before is the first Painting collectible in Dishonored 2 Mission 5.
Bonecharm #3
If you have the quest for the shopkeeper’s associate, follow the waypoint to a building close to the Royal Conservatory, on the right side of the street. Go to the third floor while disarming the tripwires and look on the desk to find the Bonecharm.
Blueprint #1
The first Blueprint in The Royal Conservatory mission is on the same desk, next to the Bonecharm.
Bonecharm #4
Start from the main entrance of the Royal Conservatory. When you reach the fountain at the top of the stairs, turn right and look for two small windows along the floor.
Crawl in through the one on the left to access a locked room. Break the display case and get the Bonecharm.
Rune #4
While in the same room as above, get the Archive Key from the desk and break the wooden boards to open the door.
Go to the far end of the basement where two witches are talking near a Bloodfly nest and unlock the Archives with the key. Collect the Dishonored 2 Rune from the glass case.
Painting #2
If you look inside the small area behind the grates by the previous Rune collectible you can spot a Painting. Blink/Far Reach over a bookcase to collect it.
Blueprint #2
Go to the first floor of the Royal Conservatory, in the large hall with huge stuffed owls. On the right-hand side is a room with a disabled Arc Pylon and some whale oil tanks. Check the work bench for a Blueprint.
Rune #5
Use the front entrance of the Royal Conservatory, near the mechanized dinosaur, and Blink/Far Reach to the balcony just above (or use the staircase).
Head right, past the Bloodbriar enemy, to find a room where plants are overgrown in a corner. Search that corner to find the Rune on a pillow.
Bonecharm #5
Go to the third floor using the staircase near the previous collectible. On the right hand-side of the infested corridor is a small classroom. The Bonecharm is suspended in front of the blackboard.
Bonecharm #6
Call the elevator on the third floor and then jump on top, through its hatch, to find a tiny hidden space. The Black Bonecharm is between the pillows.
Bonecharm #7
Exit the tiny space onto a small walkway overlooking the main hall. Cross to the far side of the walkway and jump through the open window.
Get in the storage room to your right side (the one filled with plants) and grab another Black Bonecharm from the table.
Bonecharm #8, #9
The storage room is above Breanna Ashworth’s office on the third floor. Descend the stairs and kill her. Loot her body to receive two Black Bonecharms, the last ones in Mission 5.
Painting #3
The final Painting in The Royal Conservatory is also inside Ashworth’s office. It’s hung between the bookshelves on the staircase.
Rune #6
Go back to the fourth floor above Ashworth’s office to find a terrace. Deal with the Bloodbriars and Gravehounds, then pick up the last Dishonored 2 Mission 5 Rune from the shelf with lots of candles.
Blueprint #3
In order to receive the final Blueprint in Mission 5, you have to complete the side quest given by the black market shopkeeper.
Steal the Roseburrow Prototype from the secure display room on the second floor, opposite to the Oracular device. Then return it to the shopkeeper to collect your reward.
