The Watch Dogs Burner Phones Investigations revealed by the following guide, can also be completed earlier in the video game, if you wish to unlock the Vaspid LE and the Sanity Check achievement/trophy.
Since these investigations are fairly easy to finish, you should focus on finding all 8 Burner Phones in Watch Dogs, as soon as possible, because you will also unlock a series of Audio Logs from Maurice.
Watch Dogs includes 8 Burner Phones, and all of them must be located and retrieved in order to unlock the corresponding achievement. The first Burner Phone in the video-game is story-related and cant be missed, while for the remaining Burner Phones you have to explore the citys districts.
To find every Burner Phone in Watch Dogs earlier, you have two options.
You can focus on hacking the ctOS Towers, so that the Burner Phones appear on your map; or you can use our maps, and the following text guide to find them, without having to unlock the ctOS Towers.
The Burner Phones require your presence in the following districts: Parker Square, The Loop, The Wards, Pawnee, and Brandon Docks.
Watch Dogs Burner Phones Investigation 1 – Parker Square District
The first Burner Phone is located in Parker Square, where the video game starts. You will find it while playing Bottom Of The Eighth story-mission during which you will be asked to examine Maurices Phone for information.
When you hack the phone, you will also complete the first Burner Phone Investigation in Watch Dogs and retrieve Audio File: Maurice Vega 01.
Watch Dogs Burner Phones Investigation 2 – The Wards District
In The Wards District you can find another Burner Phone. On the map below, notice that it is located west from the first ctOS Tower.
Travel to the location marked on the map, and look for a tall demolished structure. Head inside and follow the stairs to the second floor, but pay close attention on your left side, because the phone is located on one of the damaged walls.
Pick it up to get Audio File: Maurice Vega 02.
Watch Dogs Burner Phones Investigation 3 – Brandon Docks District
The third Watch Dogs Burner Phone you can find is in Brandon Docks District. On our map it is located in the eastern side of the district.
When you reach its location, you will find a large hangar. Head inside and follow the stairs to the first floor.
Look for the phone on a desk and hack it to unlock Audio File: Maurice Vega 03.
Watch Dogs Burner Phones Investigation 4 – Brandon Docks District
West from the second ctOS Tower on our map you can find the second Audio Log in Brandon Docks District. Once you reach the location on the map below, you will find a brown hangar.
Near the entrance there are several brown containers. Climb up, and go through the window. Now, turn right and you will find the Burner Phone near a mattress.
Take it to unlock Audio File: Maurice Vega 04.
Watch Dogs Burner Phones Investigation 5 – Pawnee District
For the next three Burner Phones, you have to travel to Pawnee District; however, keep in mind that you might not be able to see them on your map, unless you advance through the games main-missions.
If you want to collect them earlier, open the Pawnee Map below and notice that the first one marked is located in the southern section of the district. Travel to the marked location and you will reach a small camp.
Look for a trailer with blue and white flags in front of it. Next, go around the trailer and jump on the green crate to reach the trailers roof.
You will find the Burner Phone on the blue wall near a mattress and it contains Audio File: Maurice Vega 05.
Watch Dogs Burner Phones Investigation 6 – Pawnee District
East from the first Burner Phone in Pawnee, as marked on the map below, is another Burner Phone. When you arrive to the location, you will find a motel.
On the right side of the motel is a yellow ladder that allows you to climb the roof. While on the roof, check the area behind letter L, and you will find the sixth Burner Phone, containing Audio File: Maurice Vega 06.
Watch Dogs Burner Phones Investigation 7 – Pawnee District
In the northern area of Pawnee District is the seventh Watch Dogs Burner Phone, also marked on the map below. To find it, travel to the area and look for a blue fast-food building.
You should see a sign on which you can read The Fattest Hotfish Sandwich in Pawnee.
Now, check the backyard and locate the small blue shack. Open its shutters and vault inside. The Burner Phone is located on the blue cabinet, on the left side.
Watch Dogs Burner Phones Investigation 8 - The Loop District
The last Burner Phone Investigation takes place in The Loop District. The burner Phone is located south from Tobias shop, as marked on the map. To locate it, look for a blue couch in the scrapyard, and behind it you should see a fence. Go around the fence, and on the ground you will find a mattress.
On it is the Burner Phone containing Audio File: Maurice Vega 08. Once you complete the eighth Burner Phone Investigation, you will unlock the Sanity Check achievement/trophy.
