Cabot Ridge is the first area Daryl must explore in Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, the video game, and also the first area where you can find a Walking Dead: Survival Instinct collectible.
Cabot Ridge is a large zone and while playing it, the games mechanics will be introduced, as well as several characters.
Since the collectable can be located later in this level, you have to make sure that you pay close attention to the instructions that appear on the screen, and focus on the storyline until you reach the cabin in the woods.

Cabot Ridge Description:
Cabot Ridge is a secluded mountainside area offering but a few hunters blinds rundown camphouses, and its rumored moonshine stills.
Cabot Ridge Stuffed Squirrel Location
The first collectible in Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is a Stuffed Squirrel that can be found in Cabot Ridge area.
While playing the level, eventually you will be defeated by a pack of zombies. As soon as the introductory cutscene ends, you will wake up inside a cabin.
Clear the first room and pick up all items, as you will need them later (especially the knife), then exit through the door. In the next room, which is larger, you should see Jess, who wants to talk to you.
Before interacting with Jess, make sure that you explore the room, because you will find more items, including the first Walking Dead: Survival Instinct collectible.
To get it, look for a large chimney, on the right side of the room, while standing in front of Jess. The Cabot Ridge Stuffed Squirrel is located on the left side of the chimney next to the blue chair.
Once you pick up the collectable, talk to Jess and complete the level, to access the second zone, called Sedalia.
