The Amazing Spider-Man Collectibles Guide

The Amazing Spider-Man Collectibles Guide

The Amazing Spider-Man collectibles available in the open-world videogame developed by Beenox, can be divided in two major categories.

Throughout the following game guide we reveal the location of every indoor collectable/pick-up in The Amazing Spider-Man, for those who have purchased the game and need additional help in finding them.

In The Amazing Spiderman, players can look for two different types of collectibles: outdoor collectibles and indoor collectibles.

Outdoor Collectibles/Pick-Ups

Outdoor collectibles/pick-ups are in fact comic pages scattered all around Manhattan. These comic pages are also divided in two types: normal comic pages and flying comic pages.

Finding all of them is not as hard as it seems, especially because they are highlighted; and every time Parker gets near one of them, players are informed by a message that appears on the screen, asking them to press a specific button.

The Amazing Spider-Man comic pages, award a small amount of experience points, required to buy new upgrades; however, their main role in the game is to unlock 10 Digital Comic Books.

The Amazing Spider-Man Comic Books can be found in the Extras Menu, and as soon as the player finds the required number of comic pages, a new Marvel Digital Comic Book is unlocked.

A Comic Book in The Amazing Spider-Man is a digital copy of the original comic book released by Marvel in the past, meaning that players who manage to find all comic pages in the game, will have a small library of ten digital comic books, they can read anytime they want.

The library includes the following publications:

1ST Spider-Man –- Comic Pages required to unlock it:  5

1ST Lizard– – Comic Pages required to unlock it: 15

Modern Lizard– – Comic Pages required to unlock it: 30

1ST Rhino -– Comic Pages required to unlock it:  50

1ST Scorpion -– Comic Pages required to unlock it:  80

1ST Black Cat– – Comic Pages required to unlock it:  125

VS. Vermin– – Comic Pages required to unlock it:  175

1ST Iguana -– Comic Pages required to unlock it:  250

1ST Gwen Stacy -– Comic Pages required to unlock it:  350

1ST Smythe– – Comic Pages required to unlock it: 500

Indoor Collectables/Pick-Ups

The second category of collectables featured in The Amazing Spider-Man are known as indoor collectibles, or, as they appear in the game, indoor pick-ups.

The Amazing Spider-Man is a video game divided in missions. Players can explore the city as they wish; however, to advance in the game, they must complete a series of missions/chapters.

All chapters can be replayed, after players gain access to Spidey’s apartment; and in each chapter, Peter Parker can find new collectibles (pick-ups).

The Amazing Spider-Man indoor pick-ups are also divided in categories, as follows:  Magazines, Oscorp Manuals, Tech Pieces, Photos, and Audio Evidences. Each chapter (main mission) in the video game, includes a specific number of indoor pick-ups, and finding all of them is the only way to get a completion score of 100% for that chapter.

It is important to know that unlike outdoor collectibles, indoor pick-ups play a very important role in the game, because they are harder to find, and they award an increased number of experience points, allowing Spider-Man to level up faster.

Additionally, players who find all of them, will unlock the corresponding Amazing Spider-Man trophies/achievements in the game.

Since The Amazing Spider-Man is divided in chapters, our collectables guide is also divided in multiple parts.

Each part reveals the collectibles that can be found in a chapter, along with photos and instructions regarding their specific locations.

Players, who wish to find all Amazing Spider-Man pick-ups in a single playthrough, should follow the exact order as seen in our guide. Our guide starts with Chapter 1.
