Up to 53 Tekken Tag Tournament 2 characters can be accessed in the fighting video game developed by Namco Bandai Games, even if on multiple websites, there are listed 55 fighters.
According to the selection screen featured in the game and to the official website , the base version of the game includes 49 TTT2 characters; however, players can notice that while selecting a fighter, the selection areas include 4 additional slots, which will be filled with the characters released as part of the games DLCs.
The following game guide reveals the full list of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 characters included in the console version of TTT 2, along with screenshots captured from the game.
The purpose of the guide is to eliminate any confusions and rumors that appeared between fans of the franchise, regarding the fighters that can be unlocked in this specific title. Players should know that the list was divided in three parts.
The first part contains the characters that can also be found in the arcade version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2, while the second part reveals the console exclusive characters. The final part in our complete Tekken Tag Tournament 2 characters list includes four additional fighters that will be released as DLCs.
Tekken fans can observe that in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, multiple characters from Tekken 6 make their return, but developers also included additional fighters from the previous games: Tekken 2, Tekken 3 and Tekken 4, for example. Additionally, the video game comes with three major playing modes: Online Mode, Offline Mode and Fight Lab.
In the Offline Mode players can opt to play the arcade version of Tekken Tag 2 (Arcade Battle), can fight against ghost characters (Ghost Battle) or against another player in the VS Battle.
Team Battle, Time Attack, Survival and Pair Play are also included in the Offline Mode, while new fans can learn how to play the video game in Practice Mode.
In Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Fight Lab the main character is Combot, who can be customized by players with various moves in order to become the ultimate weapon.
An interesting aspect of this mode is that it follows a story that starts in Violets mansion, where players learn Combots basic moves, and continues through a series of stages that increase in difficulty.
But Combot is not the only character that can be customized in Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Most characters can wear more than one costume, and players have the liberty to customize them as they wish, by equipping standard outfits or by purchasing new patterns.
