South Park fans rejoice!
South Park: The Fractured But Whole has an awesome Collector’s Edition featuring some interesting bonuses and items. And more important, it’s not as expensive as Titanfall 2 Collector’s Edition, or as Battlefield 1 Collector’s Edition.
Scheduled for release on December 6, 2016, and then delayed to Q1 2017, South Park Fractured But Whole was one of the video games presented by Ubisoft at E3 2016.
Now, the game developed by Ubisoft San Francisco and South Park Digital Studios was priced and there is more than one edition available for pre-order.
According to Ubisoft’s official store, there are five different editions to choose from. Here is what you will get.
Standard Edition – Includes only the game and costs $59.99.
Gold Edition – Costs $89.99 and will get you the game plus the following bonuses:
- Season Pass
- A set of in-game costumes and a bonus perk to get fans started
- “Towelie: Your Gaming Bud” – If you pre-order
Steelbook Gold Edition – Costs $99.99 and is available only from US retailers. This edition comes with everything from the Gold Edition plus:
- A Steelbook case.
- A set of physical lithographic prints with art from South Park Studios.
The Collector’s Edition – Can be purchased for $99.99. For this price you will get the game and the following bonuses and items:
- A set of in-game costumes and a bonus perk to get fans started
- A set of physical lithographic prints with art from South Park Studios
- A 6” replica figurine of “The Coon” by UbiCollectibles and ArtToyz
- Collector’s Box
- “Towelie: Your Gaming Bud” – If you pre-order
The Collector’s Gold Edition – For $129.99 you get everything included in The Collector’s Edition and the season pass.
But this is not all that Ubisoft has to offer. Fans can purchase several collectibles independently. They are small figurines and while Ubisoft didn’t set a price for them yet, we have to admit they look amazing.
As of June 16, 2016, Ubisoft listed three of them (see pictures below).
THE COON FIGURINE – “The Coon (Eric Cartman) aims at cleaning the trash cans of society. He has chosen to become more than a man, to become the hero his town needs. He is The Coon! This figurine is available in a 3” size.”
PROFESSOR CHAOS FIGURINE – “Professor Chaos (Butters Stotch) has chosen to dedicate his life to bring chaos to the world with ambitions of becoming the greatest super-villain the world has ever seen! Professor Chaos is available in a 3″ size.”
MYSTERION FIGURINE – “Mysterion (Kenny McCormick) is the only superhero from his neighborhood with a real super power, he can’t stay dead. This figurine will be available in two sizes and unique posings: 3” and 6”.”
