Tira, one of Soul Edge’s loyal servants appeared for the first time in SoulCalibur III.
Tira can be seen in SoulCalibur IV and Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny too. She is also a playable character in Soulcalibur 5.
History
From a young age Tira was trained to be an assassin using a weapon described as a bladed hula hoop.
Although her birthplace is unknown, she received her assassin training while being a member of the Bird of Passage organization.
Because of the many missions accomplished as an assassin, Tira soon came to be a heartless and merciless fighter.
In SoulCalibur 3, Tira started to search the Azure Knight so she could become his servant. At the Ostrheinsburg Castle Tira meet Zasalamel who informed her that the Azure Knight was just a puppet controlled by Soul Edge.
This did not matter to Tira and she soon found Nightmare and became his loyal assistant receiving two tasks: to destroy the Soul Calibur and to find a new host.
Whilst respecting her tasks, Tira faced and defeated some of Yoshimitsu‘s members and also confronted Sophitia Alexandra, mother of both Patroklos and Pyrrha.
Willing to use Pyrrha as host for the Soul Edge’s power, Tira eventually kidnapped Sophitia’s daughter.
During the events of SoulCalibur IV, Tira convinced Sophitia to protect Soul Edge from any threat in order to save Pyrrha. She also influenced Astaroth, Maxi and Cervantes to serve her master.
For seventeen years, Tira silently awaited the day Nightmare will rise again, after Soul Edge was shattered into pieces at the Lost Cathedral.
Now she is back and on her way to visit Pyrrha.
Moves (Attacks)
Tira can change her mood from Jolly to Gloomy.
In Jolly mood the inconvenient she has is that her attacks are weak but she becomes stronger and she performs more powerful combos when her mood changes to Gloomy.
