Edge Master is one of the characters from the Soul series of fighting video games, who debuted in the first SoulCalibur game.
Fans of the Soul series must defeat Edge Master in SoulCalibur V, in order to access him as a playable character.
History
In the past, Edge Master was a teacher at the Ling-Sheng Su Temple.
The place where he stays is unknown, and he came to the temple from the mountains, only to teach the Ling-Sheng Su, martial arts.
One night, the Evil Seed came upon the temple, and as a result, a weapon named Kali-Yuga and its possessor Kilik were possessed by it.
Edge Master found Kilik in the temple and decided to start training him so he would control the evil within him and the Kali-Yuga.
After a long training, Kilik was given the task to finish Soul Edge, if he wanted to escape from the curse. Edge Master left on his own journey soon after Kilik was gone.
Kilik was brought back by Xianghua after he suffered a defeat against Zasalamel.
Edge Master continued to train Kilik until he was completely cured.
Edge Master left on a second quest and on his way, he came across Seong Mi-Na, who confronted him in a fight.
She lost the battle, and Edge Master trained her for some time, until he found out that she was in the search of Soul Edge. Telling her about the evil within that sword, only made her leave sooner to continue her search.
Before the events from SoulCalibur 5, Edge Master told Maxi that Kilik was in danger, and that the Kali-Yuga should be given to Xiba.
Weapons and Moves (Attacks)
Edge Master is known as a warrior skilled in using various types of weapons, so he does not wield one in particularly.
He does not name his weapons either, and because of this, Edge Master’s list of weapons remains unknown.
