The events that occur, later take Anderson and players to other locations including Sarajevo and Tibet. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is divided in chapters, each of them featuring a vast number of hidden collectibles (Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 secrets), trophies and achievements.
The title features a single-player mode as well as multiplayer mode, which allows players to test their sniping skills against each other.
After its official release, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 received medium scores from critics and users. On Metacritic, the Sniper 2 for PS3 gathered 51 points out of 100, while the Xbox 360 version of the game only 50 out of 100.
