Sine Mora is a side scrolling shootem up video game, which tells the story of Argus Pytel, a pilot who must infiltrate the floating platform known as the Syriad, and take out Ronotra Koss.
Ronotra is the antagonist in Sine Mora and a well-known serial killer, who intends to destroy the world using an army of robots.
Since Sine Mora is a 2.5D shooter, players control Pytels airplane, moving on two axes (vertical and horizontal); however the environment is rendered in 3D.
The planes primary weapons can be upgraded to inflict more damage; but players can also use more powerful weapons in order to take out their enemies. Sine Mora includes four difficulty modes, as well as boss battles, and four playing modes: Story, Arcade, Score Attack, and Boss Training.
Unlike other shootem up video games, Sine Mora features a different health system. During each level, players have to complete a race against time.
The amount of time decreases faster if Pytels plane takes damage, and increases when players destroy their opponents.
After its official release, Sine Mora was well received by players and critics alike.
As of December 5, 2012, the title managed to cumulate 83 points on Metacritic; and on IGN, Sine Mora received 9 points out of 10, being reviewed by Daemon Hatfield.
