Halo Wars 2

There are only 4 days left until the kickoff of the second Halo Wars 2 Beta we have reported last year, and if you don’t know what to play this weekend you should consider joining, especially because it is open for everyone.
The Halo Wars 2 Beta, just like the full game, will be available for Xbox One and Windows 10; however, if you intend to play it on your console, you will need an Xbox Live Gold membership.
According to halowaypoint.com the beta starts January 20, 2017 and you will have 10 days to test the Halo Wars 2 Blitz mode.
Dan Ayoub, Studio Head of Strategy Games at 343 Industries explained that:
“Blitz is our new twist on RTS gameplay that combines the deck building and split-second decision making of card-based strategy play with explosive tactical combat in the Halo universe.
Your card deck, along with your faction leader, are your greatest resources as you assemble a collection of air, ground and infantry units and seek to out-think and out-maneuver your opponents on the battlefield. We’re really excited about this new mode and look forward to unleashing Blitz upon the community to play and run through its paces prior to launch.”
It is worth noting that during the beta test, you will have access to all cards available in the full game, but the cards you earn and your progress will not carry over when the game is released.
The map available in Halo Wars 2 Blitz Beta is “Proving Grounds”, and you will be able to join 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 games via matchmaking.
While your progress will not be saved, developers will award you 2 free Blitz card packs that can be unlocked when the final game is released on February 21st.
The first free Halo Wars 2 card pack is unlocked by logging in Halo Wars 2 between January 20 and January 30, while the second one is unlocked for completing your first match.
If you are a fan of real-time strategy games, you should try the Halo Wars 2 Blitz Beta, because it will keep you busy for 10 days, it allows you to try the game before buying it, and well…it’s free!
Halo Wars 2 will be released next month and there are two editions available at launch. The Standard Digital Edition can be purchased for $59.96 on Amazon, while Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Digital Edition costs $79.99.
THQ also confirmed that both Halo Wars 2 Editions will be available in physical format.
