Saints Row The Third Game Guide: Complete List of Vehicle Theft Jobs

Unlike the assassination jobs included in Saints Row: The Third, the vehicle theft jobs can be completed by stealing specific vehicles needed by some of the game’s NPCs. The video game features 30 vehicle theft jobs, all of them being revealed below.

Those who manage to complete these jobs will unlock the Hi-Jack It Trophy/Achievement.

All theft jobs in Saints Row: 3 follow the same pattern. Players will have to steal a vehicle (car, helicopter, boat or tank) and deliver it to an exact location.

The difference between a theft job and an assassination, is that as soon as a car is stolen the level of notoriety increases drastically. Since the player has to deliver the vehicles in one piece, these jobs may become harder than they seem to be; therefore, in the following guide we reveal several tips and tricks on how to complete them faster.

All these jobs award money and respect, but the cash earned depends on the vehicle’s condition. In other words, if the car the player delivers is damaged, the employer will lower the amount of money he initially offers.

To complete faster all theft jobs featured in Saints Row: The Third, players may opt to play them after the end of the main story.

This strategy offers several advantages, assuming that the player owns the town and he purchased several important upgrades included in the game.

Some of these advantages are the ability to travel faster between zones, using the VTOL, or the Mayor’s Forgiveness, which can be used when the notoriety level is too high. Players should know that even if these abilities have cool-down periods, they could be very useful during some side-missions (the Challenger job for example).

A well-known problem reported by many players is that during some missions, they receive a message informing them that the target vehicle was destroyed.

This problem can be solved by deselecting and selecting again the current mission (job). In this case, the target vehicle re-spawns and the player can steal it. The hint can be verified while standing near a helicopter or a boat required in some of these missions.

Using a rocket launcher, the player should destroy it, deselect the target using the cell phone, and then re-select the mission.

Another issue  refers to some cars that must be delivered to BJ Barnes.

This employer needs military vehicles that spawn only when the police notoriety reaches a specific level; however, during the game’s main quest, players will notice that these cars spawn often (the N-Forcer, or the Lockdown).

If the player parked one of these cars in his garage during the main quest, he can always take it to BJ Barnes.

It is important to know that this strategy works only with the military vehicles mentioned above, since they don’t have a specific pick-up region assigned.
