On the battlefield, Preacher realizes that those who set the powerful PETN explosive could kill even more innocent people, and that his familys safety is at stake. Medal of Honor: Warfighter is a game inspired by real-life events, most of them being written by U.S. Tier 1 Operators while being deployed overseas.
The title is a sequel to the 2010s MoH game, but unlike its predecessor, Warfighter received medium to negative scores from critics. Most reviewers criticized the games poor AI and the fact that it was rushed, outlining that it is a” buggy” title.
Regarding the games story, Kirk Hamilton of Kotaku, points out that it
engages in a preposterous amount of timeline-jumping; everything is a flashback within a flashback within a flashback, with no exposition breaks to let the audience know what has already happened, what that we’ve played/seen still has yet to happen, and what is happening now. It’s a structural disaster.
On Eurogamer, Medal of Honor: Warfighter received 5 points out of 10, and on IGN only 4.
