Priority: Earth is the second mission of the third Mass Effect 3 act, and the final mission of the game.
Unlike other missions in the game, Priority: Earth is longer, and because of this, our Mass Effect 3 Walkthrough Act 3 Priority: Earth was divided in two parts.
The walkthrough explains how to finish Priority: Earth and how to beat Mass Effect 3, offering additional information regarding the objectives you have to complete, the items you have to look for, and the opponents you will encounter during this specific mission.
Description
“The Citadel in now is orbit over Earth, in the heart of Reaper-controlled space. A final assault on Earth is the only way to deliver the Crucible to the Citadel and defeat the Reapers. Launch the assault on Earth when ready.”
Walkthrough
To begin the final ME 3 mission, open the Galaxy Map and locate the Local Cluster. Watch the cutscene that starts while you approach Earth. Talk to Hackett and Anderson who will give you additional information regarding your objectives.
Next, select your crew and weapons. Dont forget to upgrade your equipment, and spend the progress points you have left to improve the powers of your crew-members. Confirm your selections when you are ready to take Earth back.
Watch the cutscene showing your allies launching the counterattack on the Reapers, and then get ready to jump into action.
The drop of point is under attack by Reapers. Your first goal is to reach the Shuttle Wreckage located on the right side of the main road. On your way, expect to encounter Marauders, Cannibals and a Brute.
To cross the first area, remember that a Marauder can be killed faster with a head-shot, and a Cannibal by aiming for its mouth. You should ask your crew to flank the opponents, so you can catch them in a cross-fire. Stay away from the Brute and try to use-fire based powers on the massive Reaper.
Follow the ramps that will take you to the first floor of the damaged building where the shuttle is located, but stay alert because more Marauders and Ravagers protect it.
Take them out and advance towards the shuttle. Near it, you will see a Med Kit (left side) and the M-920 Cain. Using the M-920 Cain, take out the Reaper Cannon (Hold RT to charge the weapon, then release).
When the Reaper Cannon falls, you will be asked to survive until the Evacuation Shuttle arrives. Take cover immediately near the wreckage because waves of Cannibals and a Banshee will attack your position. Dont take any unnecessary risks and try to hold your position as much as you can.
Kill the Banshee first, and then focus on the Cannibals. When the Evac Shuttle appears, dont try to clear the area, just sprint to escape, before the Shuttle is destroyed (observe the blue bar in the right corner, because it displays the shuttles integrity).
Inside the shuttle, you will talk to Anderson. You can interrupt the discussion for additional Paragon points. Continue your dialogue with Anderson while the shuttle transports you to a Command Center.
Talk to Major Coats to start the second part of the mission.
Description
“Allied Forces are assaulting the Reapers above Earth. Hammer must get a team of soldiers onto the Citadel, in order to activate the Crucible. Coordinate with Anderson to get to the Citadel beam.”
Walkthrough
When you start the second part, you will be inside a demolished building. Follow the ladder down, and head towards Anderson. Eventually you will reach an intersection. To the left, between two mobile units, is a chamber. On the table in the middle you will find a Data Pad.
Examine it, then cross the street and use the Communications Tech inside the building to contact some of your friends (Jacob, Cortez). Exit the building and turn right. Follow the ramp made of rubble to access the first floor of the demolished building, and then go left.
Talk to Primarch Victus and Garrus (interruptible dialogue), then head through the green-panel door to trigger a new cutscene. Using the mounted-gun protect the perimeter and stop the Husks from advancing. Make sure they dont climb the walls of the buildings. Eventually, an air-strike will take them out for good.
In the next room, you will find Liara and next to her two Med Kits, near the left wall. When you enter the room where Anderson is located, to the right on a desk is another Med Kit.
Take it then talk to EDI and other characters you may see near Anderson. When you are ready to begin the final part of the game, speak to the Admiral.
Next, talk to your team and inspire them, then select two members and their weapons.
Watch the cutscene showing your allies pushing forward, and then you will assume control over Shepard. Your first objective is to cross No Mans Land. To complete this objective you must follow the tanks and kill all Reapers you encounter, on your way to the Reaper Strongpoint.
You will fight against Cannibals, Marauders, a Banshee and a Harvester. Stay in cover and keep your eyes on the ammo. Advance slowly and you will reach the end of the area, where you will see a green-panel door which takes you inside a garage.
Here you will encounter Husks and two Brutes. It is a good idea to equip a shotgun before entering, to clear the area faster.
Head towards the end of the garage and use the ladder to go up. Follow the ramps up and clear the floor, then you will see another door on the right side of the area.
In front of it, near several crates is a Med-Kit; and another one in the bathroom (on a sink). Pick them up and continue to advance, following the street and the building to the right. When you reach the exit, you should see a long desk, and on it multiple yellow monitors. In front of the desk is a shelf (right side), and on it another Med Kit.
Pick it up, then exit the building and focus on reaching the Thanix Missile Battery.
Eventually, you will enter a demolished fast-food (Medical Station in the first room, front wall), and two Brutes will create an exit point. Reach the green-panel door and watch the cutscene that starts.
After the cutscene, secure the street and check all buildings, because in all of them you will find at least one Medical Station/Med Kit. Focus on the walls and the shelves. In one building (left side of the street) you will also find the Hydra Missile Launcher. Get it, and then deactivate the Firewall Controls using the console on the missile launcher.
Next, defend the Missile Battery until EDI reprograms it. When EDI finishes the task, use the control panel to launch the missiles, and hold your position, but be on your guard, because multiple Brutes and a Harvester will join the fight, followed by waves of Marauders and Banshees.
When Edi informs you that the missiles are in range, you have two options. You can continue to fight against the enemies, or you can sprint towards the Missile Battery and launch the missiles to take out the Guardian.
When the Reaper falls, you will trigger a new cutscene showing Anderson. After the dialogue, you will see the Crucible approaching Earths orbit, as well as your shuttle on its way to the beam.
During the next part you will have to reach the Conduit. Sprint towards the Conduit, and eventually the reaper beam will hit you.
At this point a slow-motion phase starts. Your goal is to continue to advance and reach the Conduit. Armed only with a pistol, and badly injured, advance slowly and be careful because three Husks and a Marauder will spawn near you (right side, behind the large rock).
Take them out and watch the next cutscene. New achievement/trophy unlocked: Patriot.
NOTE: Since Mass Effect 3 features multiple endings, the following part may be different based on your decisions during the game.
Talk to Anderson, and then continue to move forward to find Anderson and Illusive Man. Many questions you may have regarding Mass Effect will be answered during the next conversations. At the end of the dialogue you can try to save Anderson, by interrupting the scene, or you can let the Illusive Man shoot him; however, Illusive Man will die by your hand. When he falls, watch the Crucible opening its arms.
Pay close attention to what the Child tells you during the next dialogue, and you will have to make probably the most important decision in the game. Destroy the synthetics (including Reapers, Geth and Shepard) or try to control them.
Observe the two platforms in front of you and their colors (blue for Paragon, red for Renegade), and choose wisely.
Approach one of the platforms and use the Control Terminal to trigger the final cutscene of the game.
New achievement/trophy unlocked: Legend.
