Now that you know how to wiretap a Junction Box in Mafia 3, you will be able to find all Vargas Paintings collectibles in New Bordeaux.
The video game developed by Hangar 13 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, features 33 Vargas Paintings you need to locate.
These collectibles can be retrieved at any time, while playing the game’s missions or by visiting the locations using the maps above.
Again, you won’t receive anything for finding them, except for a series of images you can see by accessing the collection from your game’s menu. Most of them are NSFW.
For those who wish to find all Mafia 3 collectables, we have created the following guide which refers strictly to the Vargas Paintings.

For each area, we have created a customized map showing the locations of these collectables, along with instructions that will help you find them faster.

Delray Hollow Vargas Paintings Locations
Delray Hollow is the first area in Mafia 3 you should explore if you want to find all Vargas Paintings.
This specific zone includes 4 paintings as depicted by our map above.
Vargas Painting 1
For the first Vargas Painting, check the office where you find Kincaid. This collectible can also be retrieved earlier, if you take out the thugs in the area.
If not, you can wait until you will be asked to look for Kincaid as part of the Smack Racket mission in Delray Hollow.
Either way, the collectible is on the wall behind his office.
Vargas Painting 2
The second Mafia 3 Vargas Painting on our map is extremely easy to find because is inside your character’s hideout.
Check the basement in Sammy’s Bar, and look for a support pillar in the middle of the room. Go around it to spot the collectible.
Vargas Painting 3
The third and the fourth paintings are very close to each other, being located in Doucet’s club. You can get both of them while playing The Way of Flesh.
The first one is on the left wall of the lobby and can be seen when you enter the club using the front doors.
Vargas Painting 4
Several steps away from the previous one, as you can see on our map is the final Vargas Painting in Delray Hollow.
Once you get the third collectible, check Merle “Trigger” Jackson’s office inside the same club. Behind his desk is the painting.
This collectible can be easily retrieved while freeing the girls during one of the prostitution missions you will receive in this area.
River Row Vargas Paintings Locations
The next area you have to investigate in Mafia 3 is River Row, which also includes 4 Vargas Paintings, as you can see on our second map.
Vargas Painting 1
The first Mafia 3 Vargas Painting is inside Rigolet’s Canning Company.
Check the second floor and look for it to your left as you enter the door.
Vargas Painting 2
The next two Paintings are in the same area, which is Vito Scaletta’s base of operation. For the first one on the map above (2), enter Benny’s Ristorante Italiano, using the front door, and check the first booth to your right.
The painting is on the ground.
Vargas Painting 3
The second painting in this area is in Vito Scaletta’s office. After you pick the previous one, exit the restaurant, turn right and go around the building.
Follow the stairs up, and enter the first office to the right.
While facing Vito, look to your left and you will see the Vargas Painting on a bookshelf.
Vargas Painting 4
For the last Mafia 3 Vargas Painting in River Row, check the south-western area, following our map.
When you reach the location, you will find the warehouse you need to clear during Roy’s Contraband Racket.
Once inside, follow the stairs up and check the office in the middle of the warehouse. It is the same office where you will find Alma.
The painting is on the right wall, near a small white cabinet.
Pointe Verdun Vargas Paintings Locations
Four additional Mafia III Vargas Paintings are in Pointe Verdun area; their locations being revealed above.
Vargas Painting 1
The first Vargas Painting on the map above is inside a garage. Check the wall near a cabinet used to hold papers.
Vargas Painting 2
As you enter Burke’s office, go around his counter to enter the backroom. Check the right wall, opposed to the bed for the second Vargas Painting in Pointe Verdun.
Vargas Painting 3
While completing the protection objective as part of “The Blade Stained Red” mission you will have to deal with Sonny Blue.
When you enter Roberdeau Meat Packing Co. building, check his office and you will find the painting in the corner of the room, on a white cabinet.
Vargas Painting 4
The final Vargas Painting collectible in Pointe Verdun is also in an office. Its location can be reached while investigating the Bevers Moonshine headquarters.
Simply reach the top floor of the building and look for it to your left as you enter. It is the same office used by Nicki Burke and the painting is on the wall in front of her desk.
Barclay Mills Vargas Paintings Locations
Barclay Mills, the third area we cover in our guide, includes only 3 Vargas Paintings.
Vargas Painting 1
The first Vargas Painting on our Barclay Mills map is inside the train depot. Look for it on the second floor, inside the large office.
As you enter the office (you will have to complete an objective here) check the right side, near the windows to see the painting between them.
Vargas Painting 2
Now, move to the northern section of the neighborhood for the second Vargas Painting which is located inside another office.
Its location can be reached while playing “Puppy’s Garbage Racket” mission. Use the stairs outside to get to the second floor of the garbage dump office and look for the collectible behind a blue office and a white counter, on your left side as you enter.
Vargas Painting 3
The third and final painting in this area is located south-west from the previous one. You will find it inside a blue trailer in the quarry.
You can grab this one while looking for Enzo Conti. Enter the blue trailer and look for the painting on the wall behind the office and near the window.
Downtown Vargas Paintings Locations
Now that you have found all Vargas Paintings in Barclay Mills, focus on collecting those in Downtown area, using the locations marked on our map above.
Vargas Painting 1
You should find the first one inside the Imperial Health Club, which is accessed while playing Frankie’s Blackmail Racket mission.
The exact location is on the top floor of the club, so use the stairs in the lobby to reach it. Once inside the office look for it on the bookshelf between the two large plant pots.
Vargas Painting 2
The second Downtown Vargas Painting is inside the Royal Hotel. Enter the hotel using the front doors, cross the lobby and jump behind the reception counter.
Now turn around and look down to spot the collectible near two card boxes.
Vargas Painting 3
The third painting and also the last one in Downtown is located on the third floor of a building under construction. This specific building is accessed during the Cavar’s Construction Racket mission you have to complete to progress the game’s storyline.
Use the stairs inside the building to reach the third floor and search for the painting close to brown couch and near a pile of red bricks. It is in the corner of the room.
Frisco Fields Vargas Paintings Locations
In Frisco Fields district, you only have to find 3 Vargas Paintings, so make sure you check the map above to see their locations.
Vargas Painting 1
The first one on our map is in Bobby Bastian’s office. This office can be accessed during the The Privileged Die Slow main mission.
One of the objective you have to complete for this mission is to access a PCP lab in the Duvall Hall Science Center and confront Bobby Bastian.
The painting is in his office on the left wall next to a couch and another painting.
Vargas Painting 2
The second Vargas Painting in Frisco Fields is inside Bellaire’s Grocery Store. Again, this area becomes available during a story mission.
After you interrupt the rally of the Southern Union, check the office on the second floor and you will see the collectable on the wall behind a blue desk, close to a plant pot.
Vargas Painting 3
The third and final painting collectible in Frisco Fields is inside the garden house of the Yacht Club.
Once more, you will reach this location while playing one of the game’s, main missions, but you can also retrieve it later, by returning to the Yacht Club and moving left around the large building.
Enter the garden house and look for the painting in the right corner, near a wooden crate.
Tickfaw Harbor Vargas Paintings Locations
Our Tickfaw Harbor Vargas Paintings map above shows the locations of the three paintings you have to find in this area, in order to complete your collection.
Vargas Painting 1
The first one is in the south-western part, as you can see on our map. The exact location is inside the Best Oil service station which will become your building while playing the story missions.
To get it, check the manager’s office and you should see it on the left wall as you enter the room.
Vargas Painting 2
The second painting we have mapped, is inside another Best Oil service which serves as a headquarter for counterfeiting.
Break the front door, and check the second floor office. You should see piles of money on one of the desks, and the painting on the right wall as you enter.
Vargas Painting 3
The third painting is in the harbor area, which can also be accessed while playing a story mission. The exact location is inside a warehouse (will become yours), on the second floor inside an office. You will visit this office during the Smuggling Racket.
Simply turn left to see the painting on the left wall near the office’s door.
French Ward Vargas Paintings Locations
We move now to the French Ward district of New Bordeaux, to find 4 new Vargas Paintings.
Vargas Painting 1
Again, we follow the map above for their locations, and we look for the first one in “Handsome” Harry’s office.
The office is on the second floor of the building we have mapped. This area is accessed while hunting down the Kinky VIPs in the “Evil That Men Do” story mission.
You should see the collectible on a shelf behind a bar.
Vargas Painting 2
Without leaving the area, after you collect the previous painting, head towards the inner courtyard and while on the same floor (second), go around the balcony, and head left inside the room with a pool table.
The painting is on the wall in front of you as you enter the said room. Look for it near the window.
Vargas Painting 3
For the next two collectibles on our map, check the western part of French Ward. Both of them are in the same area.
The first one can be found the moment you enter through the main door of the Big Mouth Jazz and Blues club.
Again, this area is accessed during a story mission. In this case, you will have to kill Leo “The Squid” Scutti.
Look for the painting on the right wall as you enter the nightclub.
Vargas Painting 4
The final painting is inside the same building as the previous one, but to find it you need to reach the underground office of Leo “The Squid” Scutti.
You can’t miss this area because it’s part of the game’s story. Grab the painting behind Scutti’s office after you take him out.
Southdowns Vargas Paintings Locations
In Southdowns area featured in Mafia 3 you can find 3 Vargas Paintings, and as usual they are hidden in key-locations that are related to the missions you need to complete.
Vargas Painting 1
Following our Southdowns map above, look for the first Vargas Painting inside Willcocks Sports and Cocktails.
This bar will become yours later in the game. Enter the building through the main door and follow the stairs on the right side, around the counter to get to the second floor. Now, enter the office in front of you and check the left wall next to the desk, to see the painting.
Vargas Painting 2
The second painting is inside the Black Market warehouse, as you can see on our map. Look for it on the second floor, inside an office with a large safe.
You should see it above a table with a red radio on it.
Vargas Painting 3
The last Vargas Painting in Southdowns is north from the previous one, if you follow our order and our map.
This collectible is inside a warehouse close to the pier. The warehouse is accessed when you are working on closing Peralta’s gambling activities.
After you reach the location on our map, enter the blue warehouse and look for the painting close to the northwestern entrance, behind a brown desk.
North Lake Vargas Paintings Locations
The final two Vargas Paintings can be found in an area known as North Lake. It is the area where Marcano is building the casino, and you will be able to access it at the end of the game.
If you miss the paintings, you can return later to get them.
Vargas Painting 1
The first painting is on the ground floor of the casino, inside a security office. As you enter the casino through the front doors, advance and turn right through the first door on your right.
Advance and search the office area to see the painting on a couch on the right side.
Vargas Painting 2
The final Vargas Painting in Mafia III and the second one in North Lake, is easier to find. It is in the upper balcony where Giorgi is hiding.
After you kill him, look for the painting on another couch, on the right side of the balcony which also serves as an office.
