In L.A. Noire the video game, Cole Phelps has access to any vehicle he finds on the city’s streets; therefore, Team Bondi and Rockstar Studios, added various cars in their project.
As an open-world video game, L.A. Noire also features a vast list of locations that must be visited by players. The fastest way to reach a location in L.A. Noire is by driving a car.
Unlike other open-world video games, such as GTA or Mafia, in L.A Noire, the player is allowed to skip the driving sequences.
This system was implemented by the games developers, and it is known as the trip-skip mechanism. To activate the system, Xbox 360 players can press Y while PlayStation 3 players, Triangle.
Cole will ask his partner to drive the car, while players can sit back and enjoy the conversation. Additionally, players can opt to skip the conversation between Cole and his partners, and they will be automatically transported to their destination.
