Our game guide below is dedicated exclusively to the outfits that can be unlocked by L.A. Noire players.
The guide reveals additional information about some of the costumes, as well as how to get them and how they will modify the characters attributes.
The outfits in L.A. Noire can be unlocked by advancing in the game, or by those players who pre-ordered the title.
Most of these costumes may become available in the future as DLCs.
L.A. Noire Outfits, Suits and Costumes Lists
Below is a list which reveals some of the basic L.A. Noire costumes and suits.
These costumes have no special requirements and are unlocked by advancing in the game, and reaching higher ranks.
Beat Cop Uniform – is available as soon as Cole Phelps starts working for the Patrol Department.
Golden Boy Suit – obtained when Cole Phelps is promoted as a detective in the LAPD Traffic Department.
Sword of Justice – can be unlocked by players after reaching Rank 3.
Sunset Strip – this costume can be unlocked by reaching Rank 8.
The Outsider – players who wish to unlock this costume, will have to reach Rank 13 in L.A. Noire.
Hawkshaw – this costume is unlocked by players who reach Rank 18.
Bonus Costumes and Suits
The L.A. Noire costumes listed below are bonus costumes, and they have special requirements.
The Sharpshooter Costume – Increases the aiming skill with Garand and Colt .45. Includes the Nickel Plated Pistol and can be accesses by those players who pre-ordered L.A. Noire from Best Buy or Zavvi.
The Broderick Costume – The suit increases Coles fist-fighting skill and is available as a pre-order bonus costume from Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk. Additionally, this costume increases Coles resilience to damage, and is also known as Detective
Suit and Pistol bonus.
Button Man – This costume comes with all L.A Noire pre-orders from EB Games, Gamestop and GAME.co.uk; however it can be unlocked only after the player completes the Badge Pursuit challenge. The bonus also includes the Naked City case.
Chicago Lightning Suit – Is an L.A Noire exclusive costume for members of the Rockstar Social Club.The costume increases Coles accuracy while using a shotgun, the BAR or the Thompson.
