Vanguard Down is the first actual chapter in Inversion, the video game, and can be unlocked after the prologue.
The action in Vanguard Down takes place during the day when Vanguard City was attacked by the Lutadore.

“You leave Vanguard PD and head home where Leila is waiting. Today marks the beginning of the end. Everything will be turned upside down.”
Walkthrough
Vanguard Down begins with a cutscene showing Davis and his partner, Leo Delgado, exiting the Vanguard PD station. Davis wants to visit his wife Leila, and Leo decides to accompany him. The cutscene continues with a dialogue between Leo and Davis, while they drive to Leilas apartments.
Inside a passage, both characters are almost killed by a driver who cant control his car. When Davis exits the passage he sees the citizens running scared on the citys streets. Both cops decide to investigate what’s happening, without knowing that, in fact, Vanguard City was attacked.
Equipped only with a shotgun, we move forward, from one cover point to another. When we reach the corner of the street, we trigger a new cutscene showing the Lutadores killing the civilians. The savages wont stop when we yell at them, so, we have to take them out.
While standing behind cover, we kill all Lutadores before they destroy our cover.
Eventually, Leo Delgado takes one of their weapons, and the second one will be added to our inventory. We can select the new weapon by pressing left on our D-Pad.
As soon as we access the assault rifle, more enemies will appear. We take cover behind on of the cars and take them out by aiming for their heads.
During the next cutscene we can see that our enemies already started to reverse the gravity. It is time to reach Cara and Leila.
After we gain control over Russel we head forward down the street, and take cover behind the small walls in front of us. We kill all Lutadores on the other side of the crater in front of us, and then we go around the hole in the ground.
When we reach the other side, we immediately take cover as more enemies will come through the gate in front of us. Two of them will appear on the balcony on the other side of the small plaza. We take them out first as they have the high-ground advantage, then we focus on the remaining enemies.
After we clear the area, we gather the ammo on the ground and we push forward through the gate, until we reach a garage. Immediately, we take cover and kill the Lutadores in front of us, and then we focus on the left side, because more will appear on the stairs. If we run out of ammo we check the right side of the parking lot where we will find a supply crate.
When the parking lot was cleared we follow the stairs up and the right corridor. We go through the room on the right side of the corridor but we stay alert because three more enemies will appear.
One of them will break the wall in front of us.
Pushing forward and crossing the rooms is the only path we can follow, and when we exit we go right, but we stay alert because a Lutadore appears on the ceiling, to the left. Another one appears on the stairs to the left after we cross the burning hallway. We take him out and go up, where we can see Davis wife.
Unfortunately, we cant save her, and the Lutadore troops appear nearby. Even if Leo tries to stop them, they are too many, and both cops are captured. But all is not lost, because we know that Davis daughter survived.
The first chapter in Inversion ends when the Lutadores take Leo and Davis to their prison. New achievement/trophy unlocked: Chapter One.
The second chapter in the game (Caged) begins when we reach the Lutadore camp.
