Louise Lincoln, also known as Killer Frost, is a fictional and a playable character in Injustice: Gods Among Us, and even if she cant be accessed in the story mode, she is available in other playing modes.
Created by Gerry Conway and Al Milgrom, Killer Frost debuted as a DC Comics character in Firestorm # 3 (1978) under the name of Crystal Frost, and in Firestorm (vol. 2) # 21 (1984) as Louise Lincoln, both of them being incarnations of the same supervillain.
Crystal Frost, the first incarnation, became Killer Frost after she survived an accident in the Arctic, but she was later killed by Firestorm.
In 1984, Crystal Frosts friend and colleague, Louise Lincoln decided to repeat the same experiment, and she also survived, turning into the new Killer Frost.
In Injustice: Gods Among Us, the video game, Killer Frost is a trustworthy member of Superman’s One World Regime, and the only character that doesn’t have an alternate version. She appears several times in story mode, being sent by Superman to protect Batman’s cave, helped by Solomon Grundy.
When the Insurgents try to access the cave and retrieve the kryptonite weapon, Killer Frost fights Wonder Woman, while Green Arrow helped by Green Lantern manage to defeat Grundy.
Eventually, Killer Frost defeats Wonder Woman and then she focuses her attention on Green Arrow. Later in the videogame, Killer Frost discuses with the alternate version of Wonder Woman on how the new Insurgents traveled to the parallel universe, explaining that they have been brought there by Batman.
Wonder Woman however, sends Killer Frost to Flash to confirm her theory but when she tries to leave the chamber, Frost notices that Diana was restrained by Deathstroke.
The mercenary manages to defeat Killer Frost, but he cant stop her in attacking Gotham city, later in the game. Her target becomes Cyborg.
The alternate ending that can be unlocked in Battle Mode, shows a victorious Killer Frost who is eventually captured by the scientists from S.T.A.R Labs. Without knowing her true powers, the scientists try to use them to secure the melting Ice Caps.
Enraged, Killer Frost turns against them destroying the labs and freezing the Western Hemisphere. Now, the remaining population struggles to overthrow the Ice Queen.
Costumes and Skins
Unlike other characters in the video game, the only outfit available for Killer Frost is her Regime costume, which can be unlocked directly through the Archives.
