Most Injustice: Gods Among Us costumes and skins can be unlocked by those who play the video game on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or Nintendo Wii; however, some costumes included in the game are bonuses awarded for pre-ordering the game from various retailers, or for accessing different items in Injustice: Gods Among Us on iOS.
The following guide presents all Injustice: Gods Among Us costumes that are available in the base version of the video game, along with instructions on how to get them.
Each Injustice: Gods Among Us character can wear at least two different costumes. These outfits can be found in the Bonus Features menu, by accessing the Archives sub-menu and then the Characters window.
The first set of costumes includes the default outfits, which are available at the beginning of the game. The second set, on the other hand, features the costumes that have been created by developers, based on the games story, and these specific costumes are divided in two categories: Regime Costumes and Insurgency Costumes.
Regime Costumes are available to those characters who accepted Supermans new world order, after he was tricked by Joker, while Insurgency Costumes belong to Batmans allies who fight against Supermans Regime.
To unlock a Regime Costume or an Insurgency Costume, players must spend one Armor Key. The Armor Keys along with the Access Cards can be earned by playing the game in different modes and by leveling up.
If players aqcuire all Regime Costumes and all Insurgency Costumes, they will unlock the Gonna Need More Closet Space achievement/trophy.
Another set of Injustice: Gods Among Us Skins and Costumes, contains the items that are unlocked only by those who perform a series of events in the video game.
An example is Solomon Grundys Grundy Boss costume, which is unlocked for completing a Classic Battle Mode ladder with any character, on any difficulty.
A similar skin can be unlocked for The Flash, and it is known as New 52. To get this specific skin, players have to beat the Speed Run Battle Mode once, with any character.
The third example is Supermans Godfall costume, awarded for finishing the games story mode. Additional Injustice: Gods Among Us costumes and skins can be unlocked by playing the iOS version of Injustice: Gods Among Us or by pre-ordering the console versions from different retailers such as Best Buy, Walmart or GameStop.
The mobile version of Injustice: Gods Among Us can be downloaded for free from iTunes.
It requires 496 MB of free disk space and iOS 5.0 or later. By playing Injustice: Gods Among Us for iOS players can gain access to even more costumes in Injustice: Gods Among Us for Xbox 360, Wii U and PlayStation 3.
