Master thief Selina Kyle, also known as Catwoman is another playable character featured in Injustice: Gods Among Us, but she can’t be accessed in Story Mode.
Catwoman debuted as a DC Comics character in Batman #1, being created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. She is also known as The Cat or Irena Dubrovna, but her real name is Selina Kyle.
Since her debut, Catwoman appeared in almost all materials related to Batman, being his adversary; however, it is well known that she developed a strange relationship for him, based on a mix of love and hate.
In Injustice: Gods Among Us, Selina Kyle is a Gadget User and one of the fastest characters, after Flash. She is also affiliated to Superman’s One World Regime, even if during the introductory cutscene she can be seen helping Lex Luthor, Solomon Grundy and Bane, invading the Watchtower.
During the following cutscenes of the video game, players can see Catwoman fighting Raven, then being escorted by Nightwing.
Her role in the video game becomes more important in the alternate universe, as a member of the Regime. Eventually, Catwoman manages to trick Cyborg who was trying to hack the device for the Insurgents, even if he was wearing the Regime costume; thus, Selina becomes his opponent.
Later in the game, she also fights Batman after she tries to convince him that she was working undercover, against Superman. Unfortunately for Catwoman, when she asks Batman to leave the city with her, The Dark Knight refuses and fights her.
Catwoman is defeated quickly, and at the end of the game she can be seen joining Supermans allies in prison.
Catwoman’s alternate ending; however, shows her guarding Gotham and Metropolis alongside Batman, forming a duo named The Bat and The Cat.
Costumes and Skins
Catwoman can wear four Injustice: Gods Among Us costumes, aside from her default costume.
The first Catwoman alternate costume is the Regime Outfit that can be purchased from the Archives, while the second is the Arkham City Costume that can be unlocked only by those who have purchased the video game from Wal-Mart, or those who have purchased the Arkham City Costume Pack DLC.
The third alternate suit (Selina Kyle) was introduced by the Injustice: Gods Among Us Bad Girls Skin Pack DLC, and the fourth as part of the Ami-Com DLC.
