In an attempt to resurrect Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline, EA and DICE announced that DLC’s for both past installments are free to download on all platforms.
Yes, DLC’s not the full games, which are required to play the additional content.
Furthermore, not all DLC’s are released at the same time, according to EA:
“Over the next few months, we’ll be giving away previously released expansion packs.”
In other words, starting May 3 until May 10, you will be able to download for free the Battlefield 4 DLC Dragon’s Teeth, and the Battlefield Hardline DLC named Robbery.
The offer is available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Origin, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3.
If you wish to get the free DLC’s, just head to the Battlefield site.
This announcement looks like a good marketing strategy knowing that on May 6, EA and DICE revealed the new Battlefield game.
Furthermore, the offer comes two days after Activision announced Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
Right in the middle. Don’t you think?
