Final Fantasy XV The Pauper Prince is the first main quest you need to complete after the Prologue.
The Pauper Prince is triggered automatically after Noctis says farewell to his father, Regis Lucis Caelum CXIII, and leaves the palace to meet his future wife, Lunafreya Nox Fleuret.
Unfortunately, after the journey starts, your team’s car, Regalia, breaks down in the middle of the road and you will have to push it to Hammerhead, where the first service is located.
When you reach the location, you will meet Cindy Aurum, a key-character in the game and one of the quest-givers you will visit quite often.
Her grandfather, Cid, runs the local service and he agrees to help you … for a price.
After you meet both characters (Cid and Cindy), approach the young lady and talk to her to receive an item (World Map x 1).
At this point you can talk to the tipster at the dinner to unlock all points of interest near Hammerhead, or approach Ignis who suggests talking to Cindy.
Objective: Consult Cindy
Talk to Cindy Aurum and see what she has to say. When the dialogue box appears choose “Ask my Friends” to see what the rest of the team thinks you should do.
For talking to your friends, you will earn 10 AP, and you will unlock a new objective.
Read carefully how you can use the AP Points in Final Fantasy XV, because they are very important. We suggest investing in Combat: Light Phase.
Cindy will also give you 1000 Gil and a Bronze Bangle x 1. Equip Noctis with this item.
Objective: Eliminate the Pests (0/3)
Now, it’s time to deal with the pests bothering Cindy. They are located just across the road, to the north.
The Reapertail are quite easy to defeat using the Engine Blade which is your primary weapon at this point. Make sure you dodge their attacks and use everything you have learned in the tutorial.
When you are done with the first group, move north to the next one, but this time try using the two-handed sword. Block and strike until you clear the area.
Now, move to the final location, which is around 700 ft away. This time, try exercising your attacks using the javelin.
For defeating all Reapertail in the three areas, you will automatically loot several Scorpion Barbs.
Once you clear the last area, The Pauper Prince quest ends, and you will receive a phone call from Cindy who wants you to find a missing person named Dave. You are already close to his location; therefore, you should attend this task immediately.
