Final Fantasy XV The Ever Gleaming Regalia, or the third side-quest in Cindy’s questline, is very similar to the previous two side-quests you received from her.
Unlike The Ever Elegant Regalia however, The Ever Gleaming Regalia side-quest has two requirements you have to meet in order to be able to complete it.
First, you have to finish the previous two quests in line, and then you need to unlock Duscae, the second area in FFXV.
Duscae can be unlocked by removing the Imperial blockades, and becomes available the moment you start Burden of Expectation, the first quest of the third act.
Before travelling to Lestallum to meet Iris, you can undertake The Ever Gleaming Regalia side quest by talking to Cindy.
For this side-quest, the sexy mechanic will ask you to find the Fiberglass Coating component.
Objective: Head to Alstor Slough
Alstor Slough is an important location in Duscae. If you open your map while tracking this quest, you should see the marker placed south of Coernix Station – Alstor Outpost.
Drive to the said outpost, then head south towards the marker.
On your way, you might be ambushed by a pack of Voretooths. Remember to use polearms, shields, or ice spells to defeat them faster, because all of these weapons inflict 120% damage.
The Voretooths in Final Fantasy XV are resilient to light and fire.
Objective: Find the Coating
When you enter the area marked on your minimap start looking for an abandoned hut. Go around it and you should see a black car nearby.
If you take a closer look at the picture above, you can see that the Coating is located next to the said car (yellow sparkling object).
Simply pick up Fiberglass Coating x 1 to receive your next objective.
Objective: Deliver the Coating to Cindy
With the Fiberglass Coating in your inventory, head back to Hammerhead and report to Cindy. After a short cutscene, the quest ends and you receive the rewards below as well as a new quest, named The Ever Valorous Regalia.
Keep in mind though, that The Ever Valorous Regalia can be completed only after you reach Chapter 7 (Party of Three main-quest).
