Final Fantasy XV A Stone-Studded Stunner is the second side-quest you can start by talking to Dino in Galdin Quay, but unlike the first one, it has two requirements.
To be able to trigger A Stone-Studded Stunner in FFXV, first you need to complete The Aspiring Artisan side-quest.
Additionally, you also need to finish Chapter 2 of the videogame developed by Square Enix, because for this quest, the second area named Duscae must be unlocked.
Last but not least, you have to be aware that A Stone-Studded Stunner is a level 15 side-quest, which means that your party must be well prepared for the dangers that might appear.
If you have met all these requirements, pay a visit to Dino in Galdin Quay and he will tell you that he wants to craft a new jewel for you, but he is missing some stones that are located in a dangerous area.
The stones you have to find for A Stone-Studded Stunner side-quest are known as Heliodor Stones, and to complete your task you have to find three of them.
Objective: Head to the Specified Area
Start by looking at your map and notice that the area you have to reach is located south of Wiz Chocobo Post and Kettier Highland Parking Spot.
Drive to the marked area, and you will receive a new objective the moment you reach it.
Objective: Obtain Three Heliodor Stones
While looking at your mini-map, start your search in the southern side of the blue circle. The first Heliodor Stone is located on the right side of the dirt path, near a random stone.
If you have problems finding it, look for a grey stone with red insertions. Approach it and pick up Heliodor Stone x 1.
From your current location, remain close to the edge of the blue circle but move north, to find the second Heliodor Stone near a larger rock. There are also several red bushed at the bottom of the rock.
For the last Heliodor Stone, move north-west towards the small pond and notice a hill very close to the fishing spot. Go around the said hill and you will see another Heliodor Stone deposit in the vicinity of the pond.
While looking for the Heliodor Stones you might be ambushed by some strange beasts similar to myriapods. They are called Hundlegs and they are weak against two-handed swords and ice spells.
Make sure you use them and combine your attacks with Prompto’s Recoil technique to deal 120% damage.
Objective: Deliver the Three Stones to Dino
Once you find three Heliodor Stones, return to Regalia and drive back to Galdin Quay. Speak to Dino again and you will receive the rewards we have listed below.
Furthermore, you will also unlock the next assignment in Dino’s quest-line, named Reliable Royalty.
