Fable Anniversary Silver Keys represent one of the most important collectible type in the videogame. They are important because they can be used to open 12 special chests named Silver Chests.
There are 30 Silver Keys in Fable Anniversary, and while some of them can be acquired early in the game, most are hidden and require digging and fishing, hence you need to advance until you can obtain a Spade and a Fishing Rod.
Once you have a certain number of Silver Keys collectibles you can go and open Silver Chests to find useful items such as elixirs, weapon augmentations, and even Legendary Weapons.
The locations of all 30 Silver Keys are revealed in the following guide.
Fable Anniversary Silver Keys Locations
Silver Key #1 (Lookout Point)
The first Silver key can be found in Lookout Point. As youre walking from Heroes Guild towards the statue turn left at the crossroad to see some vines. Cut through them and walk on the path to find the collectible.
Silver Key #2 (Bowerstone South)
Once you reach Bowerstone you can collect your second Silver Key. Head inside the clothing shop (across the portal) and go upstairs. Check the balcony for the collectible.
Silver Key #3 (Fisher Creek)
When you access the area named Fisher Creek you are attacked by wasps. If you deal with them the owner of the house will give you your first Fishing Rod and will teach you how to use it.
After that you need to go on the left side of the house (north) and you should see four ripples in the water. Fish four times to get some useful items and also the third Fable Anniversary Silver Key.
Silver Key #4 (Guild Woods)
Now that you have the Fishing Rod you should return to Guild Woods where you killed the beetles and fish the fourth Silver Key from the pond.
Silver Key #5 (Greatwood Lake)
The fifth Silver Key can be found in Greatwood Lake area. Head north, near Greatwood Entrance and then go up the slope to find the collectible next to the broken bridge.
Silver Key #6 (Orchard Farm)
When you reach the Orchard Farm you need to head to the easternmost point on the map until you find a pier. Stand on top of him near the ripple and fish for the sixth Silver Key (there are actually two piers, the other one has another treasure).
Silver Key #7 (Fisher Creek Fishing Competition Side Quest)
Return to Fisher Creek and speak with the fisherman to enter the fishing competition. Read the sign to see which is the biggest caught fish and at which weight you receive your next award.
Give the fisherman any fish that you catch, but know that it must be over 50g to receive all three prizes, a Fishermans Hat, The Rod of Champions, and a Silver Key, the seventh in Fable Annivesary.
Silver Key #8 (Rose Cottage)
Even if you dont accept the Hobbe Cave side quest, pay a trip to Rose Cottage.
If you own a spade, go and dig in the dirt area thats surrounded by flowers to find the eighth Silver Key collectible.
Silver Key #9 (Hobbe Caves Focus Chamber)
It is best to get the Silver Key in Hobbe Caves while you are dealing with the side quest that takes place in here in order to avoid a second trip to its location.
Once you reach the Focus Chamber area of Hobbe Caves complete the requirement of the side quest (assuming you took the quest) and then go around the central point to find some red mushrooms. Dig there to find the ninth Silver Key.
Silver Key #10 (Darkwood Lake)
You can get the Silver Key collectible in Darkwood Lake during a main quest, but its tricky to get it since its invisible.
Near the entrance to Darkwood Camp (south side on the map) is a pointy rock that has a hole in it at the top. You need to shoot an arrow through the hole to reveal the Silver Key.
Silver Key #11 (Ancient Cullis Gate)
The eleventh Fable Anniversary Silver Key can be found in Ancient Cullis Gate area. Go west and fish it from the wooden bridge.
Silver Key #12 (Grey House)
While in Barrow Fields its worth it to make a detour to Grey House. Follow the eastern road (from the house) until you reach a Demon Door.
Look for ripples in the water thats on your left and fish in it to get the Silver Key.
Silver Key #13 (Oakvale Memorial Garden)
The Silver Key in Memorial Garden from Oakvale is actually part of the side quest Treasure of The Ghost Pirate, hence it is recommended to get it at the end of the quest (even if you can collect it before that).
It is buried at the base of the statue thats in the center of the graveyard.
Silver Key #14 (Oakvale Chicken Kicking Competition Side Quest)
After you deal with the ghost in Oakvale you can talk to a man (the road that leads to the ghost) to start the Chicken Kicking Competition side quest.
Follow the man to the beach and talk to him to start the competition. The goal of the competition is to kick a chicken five times in the designated area to accumulate points. Try to run before kicking the chicken to get a longer distance and thus score more points.
Try to score between 150 and 250 to get a Silver Key collectible. If you score more than 250 points you get a Chicken Hat, but it seems that you wont receive the prizes for the lower places, unlike the Fishing Competition.
Silver Key #15 (Twinblade’s Camp)
The fifteenth Silver Key can be acquired once you unlock the area named Twinblades Camp. Go to the south side of the camp, past the water (behind the large tent) and dig between the chest and the barrels to reveal the Silver Key.
Silver Key #16 (Witchwood Stones)
You can find another Silver Key collectible in Witchwood Stones.
In order to get it you have to fish it from the pond thats across the Demon Door (left as you exit from Witchwood Cullis Gate).
Silver Key #17 (Witchwood Lake)
As you enter the Witchwood Lake area from The Temple of Avo follow the path under the archway and dig at the bottom of the statue with a red glowing light to reveal the seventeenth Fable Anniversary Silver Key.
Silver Key #18 (Knothole Glade)
Once you open the Knothole Glade area you can acquire another Silver Key. Head south, to the location of the buyable house. Between the buyable house and the villagers house there is a round patch of dirt. Dig to collect the Silver Key.
Silver Key #19 (Windmill Hill)
Go to the house on the west side of the area and get inside the garden. You can get the Silver Key by digging in the middle of the flowers near the scarecrow.
Silver Key #20 (Windmill Hill)
There is another Silver Key in Windmill Hill. It is located behind the windmill on the east side of the map. Just as before, dig in the patch of dirt thats surrounded by flowers.
Silver Key #21 (Headsman’s Hill)
The Silver Key in Headsmans Hill is accessible only if you accept Lady Greys proposal of marrying her. During the Mayors Invitation quest you must fight with Thunder.
During the battle you will fall in a smaller area. You can fish the Silver Key from the pond that is here.
Silver Key #22 (Bowerstone North – Bowerstone Manor)
If you marry Lady Grey or you become the Bowerstone Mayor you can access the Bowerstone Manor. The Silver Key collectible is on the bed inside Lady Greys Bedroom.
Silver Key #23 (Lychfield Graveyard)
There are three Silver Keys in Lychfield Graveyard. To get the first one you need to fish in the pond thats close to the gravekeepers house.
Silver Key #24 (Lychfield Graveyard)
Turn around after you fish the key and then head inside the crypt thats just ahead of you, on the left side.
Remove the tombs cover to retrieve the second Silver Key.
Silver Key #25 (Lychfield Graveyard)
Leave the crypt and dig in the middle grave thats on your left side to collect the third Silver Key in Lychfield Graveyard.
Silver Key #26 (Cliffside Path)
As you leave the Underground Tunnel head on the hill thats in the northernmost point of the Cliffside Path area. Dig in the dirt in the middle the mushrooms to acquire the Silver Key.
Silver Key #27 (Cliffside Path)
The Silver Key in Hook Coast is inside the lighthouse. Smash the door (or use you lock picking skill) and search the cabinet on your left (next to the staircase).
Silver Key #28 (Bowerstone South – Book Collection)
When you donate 25 suitable books to the kids in Bowerstone South you complete the Book Collection quest and the teacher gives you a Silver Key.
Silver Key #29 (Lost Bay)
To get the Silver Key in Lost Bay you have to dig in the grave behind the ruined house thats near the shore.
Silver Key #30 (Necropolis)
The final Silver Key is near the Demon Door in Necropolis. You need to fish in the river right next to the broken bridge in order to acquire it.
As soon as you collect all 30 Silver Keys you unlock the achievement You Are A Super Player.
