Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale was released on May 25, 2011 in U.S and is an action role-playing video game developed by Bedlam Games for Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3. It is the first title of the trilogy announced by Atari.
Rated T for Teen, Dungeons and Dragons: Daggerdale features two playing modes and four D&D classes: cleric, rogue, wizard and fighter. Players can opt to play alone, in the campaign mode, or side by side with their friends in the co-op multiplayer mode.
The races included in D&D Daggerdale are dwarf, elf, halfling and human, each of them featuring different skills and abilities.
The action in the game takes place on the continent of Faerûn, a small region in the Deadlands, which must be explored by players in order to find the Tower of Void.
Even if the game was in development since 2010, after its release, D&D Daggerdale received low scores from critics.
Gamespots reviewer gave 4.5 points out of 10 to the title published by Atari, while Andrew Hayward from Gamespy only 1.5 out of 5. A better score was obtained from Kristan Reed (Eurogamer) who considered that Dungeons and Dragons: Daggerdale deserves 7 points from a total of 10.
