The following Dragon’s Dogma walkthrough will explain how to solve all quests while playing the RPG developed by Capcom.
Released on May 22, 2012 in North America, and May 25, 2012 in Europe, Dragon’s Dogma is an open-world role-playing video game published by Electronic Arts, exclusively for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The title was rated M for Mature and mixes the gameplay elements of a RPG with those of a survival-horror, being compared by many players and critics with Dark Souls.
As an open-world video game, Dragon’s Dogma allows players to fully explore a fantasy world, solve quests and interact with NPCs.
Players can create their own characters, by customizing their appearances and choosing their classes also known as vocations. Dragon’s Dogma features a deep customization system for each character, meaning that the player can pick the heros gender, body build and voice.
Additionally, the game includes three vocations which determine the heros skills.
Since Dragons Dogma is a role-playing video game, players must complete a vast number of quests. These quests award gold and experience points required to level up.
Unlike other role-playing games, such as Witcher 2, in Dragon’s Dogma the player has only two dialogue options; therefore when the hero interacts with a NPC, the answers wont affect the games plot.
On the other hand, during the game, some characters will offer valuable information regarding the quests available in their areas. These characters are clearly marked to draw the players attention.
A quest-giver is a NPC with a green-box above the head, while a NPC with a yellow dialogue box is a character that may help the hero by giving additional info on active quests. A NPC with a red box over its head is a key-character, which is somehow connected to one of the quests. This type of characters plays an important role in specific quests.
In Dragon’s Dogma, the games world can be divided in areas. The player must visit various locations and settlements where more quests become available.
The walkthrough below was divided in multiple parts, based on the areas that must be explored; however the walkthrough wont cover the exploration parts, meaning that players, who wish level up by killing monsters or to gather more materials, can explore the world as they wish.
