DmC Devil May Cry Guides

DmC: Devil May Cry Mission 7 Collectables Guide

With the Succubus defeated at the end of the sixth DmC Mission (Secret Ingredient) Dante, Vergil and Kat finally managed to draw Mundus’ attention; therefore, in DmC: Devil May Cry Mission 7, called Overturn, they turn their attention on Bob Barbas, the demon that works for Mundus’ news network.

Unlike in the previous DmC missions, in DmC: Devil May Cry Overturn you will be able to collect three Keys, one of them being an Argent Key.

Additionally, there are also eight Devil May Cry Lost Souls and two DmC Secret Doors hidden within the seventh level of the video game.

Our DmC: Devil May Cry Mission 7 collectables guide below, reveals the locations for all Lost Souls, Keys and Secret Doors in Overturn, along with hints that can help you locate them faster.

All DmC: Devil May Cry Collectibles in Mission 7, should be located and acquired following the same order as the one presented in the following DmC video game guide.

Mission Name: Overturn

Keys: 3

Secret Doors: 2

Lost Souls: 8

Lost Soul #1

The first DmC collectible in Mission 7 is a Lost Soul. The Devil May Cry Lost Soul is located after you reach the entrance to the state penitentiary.

Continue to follow the path by pulling platforms, and eventually you will see a red door in front of you.

You should also hear Dante telling you to “Give it a crack”, once you are next to it.

Face the said door, and turn left to spot the Lost Soul, above a floating platform made of wood. Angel Boost to its location.

Key #1 (Copper)

The second Devil May Cry Mission 7 collectable is a Copper Key.

After you get the previous soul, crack the door and continue forward. Advance slowly keeping an eye on the buildings to the right, until you see a door covered by blue vines.

Using Dante’s Aquila, destroy the vines, then jump inside the room, to collect the Copper Key around the corner. Remain in the same room, to find the next Lost Soul.

Lost Soul #2

The second DmC Overturn Lost Soul can be found immediately after you find the previous key. Make sure that after you collect the Copper Key, you don’t retrace your steps.

Instead use the grappling points in front of you, to go around the corner of the next building. On the platform you land, is the Lost Soul.

Now, make sure that you take a detour and go back to the platform where you stood when you saw the door with the blue vines. It is important to return to the same spot, to find the next Lost Soul.

Lost Soul #3

Assuming that you have followed the instructions above, at this point you should be on the platform from which you have jumped when you have collected the Copper Key.

While facing the hole which was covered by the blue vines, turn left and across the street you should see three things. A blue grappling point nearby, a red door that can be smashed and a pulling point under it. Take a closer look at the grappling point (blue) and above it you should see a fence.

Behind it is a room and on one of its walls is the third Lost Soul. To get inside, go around the corners of the building by pulling the container under the red door that can be cracked.

Look around to find the next collectable.

Secret Door #1 (Gold)

In the same room where you have found the previous Lost Soul, is the DmC Secret Gold Door, which unlocks the Devil May Cry Gold – Divergent Slaughter secret mission.

To complete DmC: Devil May Cry Divergent Slaughter secret mission you have to take out all enemies without using the same attack twice. Even if it isn’t a timed mission, Divergent Slaughter is a challenging one, and to clear it, make sure you use the environment in your advantage. In other words don’t try to kill the monsters using your attacks, instead use your weapons to push them into the lava below.

Dante’s Revenant, Kablooey (unlocked in mission 16) and even his axe will help you beat the challenge. Once you complete it, continue to push forward until you find the Divinity Statue (to the right), and stop next to it.

Key #2 (Argent)

When you find the first Divinity Statue in the mission, while standing near it, turn left and you will see a grappling point on a platform. Angel Boost then use Ophion Angel Lift to reach it, and turn right.

At the end of the platform is a room and inside it is the DmC: Devil May Cry Mission 7 Argent Key. Pick it up and retrace your steps.

Lost Soul #4

After you fight Rage for the first time, use the round window to exit the chamber where you fought the Demon, and turn left. Look up to see the fourth DmC Mission 7 Lost Soul.

Lost Soul #5

When you reach the area where the elevator is located, you should see several Rat Demons during a short cutscene. Instead of following the main path (left), go right, around the elevator to find a new Lost Soul. Now, climb the ramp to reach the top of the elevator, but don’t smash the red circle on the elevator’s floor.

Lost Soul #6

The sixth DmC Lost Soul in Overturn is easy to miss, because of its location. To collect it and unlock a new DmC achievement/trophy, make sure that when you reach the top of the elevator, you look for a platform on the same level as the elevator.

Go around the elevator and you will find the Lost Soul in a corner. Now, go back to the elevator and use Dante’s gloves to start it.

Lost Soul #7

After the elevator ride, continue to move forward and you will reach a dead end. Inside the room with the reed circle on the floor, look around and release the DmC Lost Soul located on the right wall, while facing the red spot on the ground.  Two additional DmC collectibles can be found in the next area.

Secret Door #2 (Copper)

After you destroy the red circle on the floor, you will land on a new platform. First defeat the Rat Demons that attack you, and then look around to see the Secret Copper Door which allows you to unlock the Copper – Angelic Warfare Secret Mission.

To beat DmC: Devil May Cry Angelic Warfare use only Dante’s blue weapons (Osiris and/or Aquila). When the challenge has been completed, exit the room and stop.

Key #3 (Copper)

As soon as you exit the Angelic Warfare challenge, look to the left and you will see a grappling point. To the right is a platform on which you will find the last Copper Key in Mission 7.

Use Ophion Angel Lift to reach the grappling point, and immediately turn around to see the key. Angel Boost to get the collectible, and then advance slowly towards the Divinity Statue nearby.

Lost Soul #8

When you get near the DmC Divinity Statue, simply turn around while facing it to locate the final DmC: Devil May Cry Mission 7 Lost Soul and the last collectible in Overturn. Moments later, you will encounter a new character who asks for your help.

The old man is attacked by harpies, and he agrees to help you if you help him recover his eye, a goal that must be completed in the next DmC mission, named Eyeless.
