DmC Devil May Cry Guides

DmC: Devil May Cry Mission 2 Collectibles Locations

DmC: Devil May Cry Mission 2, also known as Home Truths, begins after Dante successfully defeats the Hunter Demon at the end of the first mission, named Found.

Unlike Mission 1, DmC Mission 2 includes a vast number of collectibles.

While playing it, fans of the video game must locate: 9 Lost Souls, 2 Secret Doors and 2 Keys.

While both doors are Copper Doors, one of the keys hidden in this mission is an Argent Key. Below, players can find a DmC collectables’ guide which reveals all secret items in Mission 2.

Since some of them may require specific weapons, or abilities, players should know that the guide was created while playing the video game with all weapons unlocked.

Furthermore, those who wish to find all Devil May Cry Lost Souls, Keys and Secret Doors in a single playthrough, should respect the same order as the one below.

Mission Name: Home Truths

Keys: 2

Secret Doors: 2

Lost Souls: 9

Copper Key #1

When the second DmC mission begins, and you gain control over Dante, inside Limbo, you will find yourself in his house. Advance down the corridor until you reach the main hall, then stop and take a look around, to observe the environment.

Go to the next floor following the stairs to the right and go around the main hall, to locate a room in which you will find the first DmC collectable in this mission.

It is the first Devil May Cry Copper Key in Mission 2. Once you get it, go back to the first floor to find the first Devil May Cry Mission 2 Lost Soul.

Lost Soul #1

While standing in the main hall, facing the stairs, look to the left, and you should see an opened door. If you go through the door, you can notice that the floor was destroyed.

Advance slowly and look up and to the right. Above Dante’s head is a hole in the wall as well as a spot which allows you to use the Ophion Angel Lift.

Using Dante’s ability, jump up and in the next chamber, on the right wall is a DmC Lost Soul. Now, return to the main hall, and follow the stairs to the left.

At the end of the corridor, Dante will find a new weapon: Osiris.

Lost Soul #2

After Dante gets Osiris, and you have completed the training, follow the only opened door, and look up. At the end of the corridor is another Devil May Cry Lost Soul.

Jump over the gap using the Angel Boost ability (unlocked in mission 3), and maintain your current position.

Lost Soul #3

Once the previous Lost Soul was released, turn around and look down, through the hole in the ground. On the opposite wall, you can spot another Devil May Cry Lost Soul.

Collect it and follow the tunnel, but when you reach the next room, you should stop.

Argent Key #1

The tunnel where the third Lost Soul was found leads to a new chamber where you should see a red mark on the ground. This specific spot can be destroyed using the Eryx Gloves.

While standing above the spot, jump twice but make sure you keep the right trigger pulled (on Xbox 360).

When Dante reaches the apex of his jump, press and hold B to smash the ground and reveal the second DmC Secret Key.

It is an Argent Key, which can be used later in the game. Return to the main hall, and follow the left stairs again, until you see the Divinity Statue.

Lost Soul #4

When you reach the Divinity Statue, on the right wall, next to it, is a door covered by Blue Veins. Using the Aquila (unlocked in Mission 10), destroy the veins from distance, and then use the Angel Boost to reach the next room.

On the left wall, is the fourth DmC Lost Soul. Now, return to the main hall, and follow the stairs to the right, which will lead you to a marked door and to the next collectable in the video game.

Lost Soul #5

The marked door can be destroyed using Dante’s axe. As soon as you open it, advance slowly, and then turn around, to locate the Lost Soul above the door you have destroyed.

Release the soul and continue to advance following the kids.

Lost Soul #6

While following the two kids inside the mansion, you will reach another entrance covered by blue veins. Using Osiris or Aquila, cut the veins and behind them you will find another room and another Lost Soul, standing on the opposite wall.

Secret Door #1

After you learn the Ophion Demon Pull and complete the training, you will return to the room where Dante and his brother were playing.

Follow the only corridor available and you will reach another hole in the floor. While standing above it, notice the Secret Door below you, as well as a red spot which can be destroyed using the Eryx gloves.

First, collect the Star behind the marked spot, and then open the door, to start the Copper – Simple Eradication Secret Mission.

For this mission all you have to do is to kill the enemies that spawn, before the times runs out.

Lost Soul #7

The seventh DmC Lost Soul in Mission 2 can be found after you complete the Copper – Simple Eradication mission.

After you exit the arena, move slowly through the next door, and turn around.

Look up to find the collectible.

Lost Soul #8

As you continue to follow Dante’s mother through the mansion, you will eventually reach a blocked door. Destroy it using Dante’s axe, and follow the next corridor until you see a door covered by blue veins.

Destroy the veins using the scythe, enter the room and look above the door for the eight Lost Soul in Devil May Cry Home Truths.

Lost Soul #9, Copper Door #2

After you get Osiris, you will continue to follow Dante’s mother through the floating mansion. In the next area, you will have to jump from one suspended platform to another, until you reach another closed door that can be destroyed using Dante’s Arbiter.

Make sure that as soon as you enter the next corridor, you pay attention to the right wall, where you should see the final Lost Soul in a room behind a large hole in the floor.

To reach the room and the Lost Soul, you need the Angel Boost Ability. Next to the Lost Soul, but on the right wall is the second Copper Door in Mission 2.

At the end of the level, you will be able to unlock the next mission in line, called Bloodline.
