The Good Doctor is the third mission in Dishonored 2, which starts after you ride the carriage from the Addermire Station in Mission 2.

The mission takes place on an island, inside the Addermire Institute. The institute is run by Dr. Alexandria Hypatia, who might have a clue about Anton Sokolov’s location, your old ally.

Additionally, you have to eliminate the Crown Killer, the infamous murdered that tries to make you look guilty by assassinating your enemies. It is believed that he is a patient inside the institute, so Chief Alchemist Hypatia might know his identity.

Although the Addermire Institute is not as big as the Karnaca Docks, it has a lot of locked doors, meaning some of the Dishonored 2 Mission 3 collectibles may seem out of reach. Luckily, our collectibles guide explains what to do in each case.

While you can explore the area freely, it is recommended to stick to the order that we used in our guide. If you don’t rush you can get all the collectibles even in a stealth playthrough, like we did in the videos from our Dishonored 2 YouTube playlist.

Mission 3 – The Good Doctor Collectibles Locations

Bonecharm #1

As soon as you start the mission, exit the carriage and drop on the pipe that’s sticking out above the water (below you, on the right-hand side).

Now drop to the rocks and search the boat underneath the rails to find the first Bonecharm in Mission 3.

Use the stairs near the carriage and head inside the main lobby of the institute through the front doors. The Dishonored 2 Bonecharm is right in front of you, in a small cabinet.

Across the lobby is a Wall of Light defense system. On the wall right next to it is a Painting collectible.

Blueprint #1

Teleport above the Painting and go inside the room that’s at the far end of the floor. Read the document on the desk to find the random combination, then open the safe in the left corner of the room to find a Blueprint.

Rune #1

Now return to the main lobby and go into the dining hall that’s on the left side of the institute. Defeat the guards that are eating there and then grab the Dishonored 2 Mission 3 Rune that is hung on a placard on the pillar next to the table.

Past the Wall of Light in the lobby there is an elevator. Call it down and then use your powers to jump on top of it (through its hatch).

Press the button that is there, and when it reaches the top floor hop up and turn right to spot the Rune on a workbench.

Head outside through the circular window on your left. Blink/Far Reach on the chimneys and then on top of the roof. Pick up the Black Bonecharm collectable that’s in the bird’s nest.

Go back the way you came, to the elevator, and use the sword to break one of its cables. If you’re quick, you can jump on top for a free ride down. Hop down once it reaches the bottom of the shaft to find the abandoned basement.

On a shelf on the left wall is another Rune collectible.

Just next to the previous Rune is another Dishonored 2 Painting.

Outsider Shrine #1, Rune #4, #5

Go to the fourth floor, where Hypatia’s office is located, and exit through the doors marked “Private Rooms”. Go left and then walk along the right side of the terrace.

Enter through the second glass door on your right-hand side. Interact with the Outsider Shrine to receive two Runes.

Blueprint #2

Grab the key from Hypatia’s office and return to the second floor to unlock the “Disease Treatment” wing. Head through the door on your left and then in the next room to find Hamilton.

Grab the key from the table behind him and then run all the way to the top of the staircase, past Hypatia’s office.

Before unlocking Hamilton’s Quarters make sure you disarm the tripwire. On the desk inside his quarters is the Blueprint collectible.

Rune #6

Go to the third floor and unlock the door to the “Recuperation Room”. Destroy the first Bloodfly nest that’s just ahead and look inside for a Rune.

From the previous collectable, follow the left corridor to find three human sized containers called tanning boxes. Crawl through the damaged one to find a Dishonored 2 Bonecharm on an old mattress.

Once you reach Dr. Hypatia (through the Recuperation Room) search the small office that’s on her right-hand side.

The final Dishonored 2 Mission 3 Bonecharm is sitting on the desk inside the office.

Above the desk with the Corrupted Bonecharm is the last Painting in The Good Doctor mission.

Extra Blueprint #1

There is a backup Blueprint that appears only if you missed it in the previous mission. It is right next to Dr. Hypatia, on her work table.

Another backup spawns if you haven’t collected it in Mission 2. It’s on a desk in a small office on the third floor, close to the elevator.
