Deadlight Hidden Secrets Guide: A Chance Meeting

A Chance Meeting is the fifth Deadlight scene of the first act, and unlike in the previous scene, in this level we can find only two hidden collectibles, both of them being hidden secrets.

A Chance Meeting starts after the cutscene showing two survivors hanging zombies. Eventually, one of them is attacked, while the other one tries to escape.

As soon as the cutscene ends, A Chance Meeting begins.

A Chance Meeting Scene Description

“It seems like we’re now the only survivors that inhabit Seattle. The only normal survivors, anyway. A group of men calling themselves “The New Law” seem to be taking over the city.

They seem more dangerous than the dead. I need to hurry up and find my friends and family.”

Collectibles

Total number of hidden collectibles: 2

Hidden secrets: 2

Secret 1

The first hidden secret in Deadlight: A Chance Meeting is a blue handkerchief located in the starting zone.

We pick it up while we cross the gas station where The New Law hanged several infested citizens. If we pay close attention while standing few steps away from a zombie, we can notice a corpse with a crow on its shoulder. We check the ground under the said corpse to find the handkerchief, and then we continue to advance.

Secret 2

The second collectible can be found after we solve the puzzle in the garage. Using the large crate, we jump on the electricity post and continue to move towards our objective. Eventually we will reach a new building.

While standing next to the window, we locate the small chamber to the right. On the ground is another corpse, carrying the second hidden secret. We rush towards it, get the item, and then return to the main chamber.

To escape, we perform a wall-jump and then climb the central platform. Next we jump to the right and quickly exit the building.

We continue to push forward, from one building to another, until we reach Checkpoint Charlie, which is the next scene in the game.
