Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 Collectibles Locations

Chapter 4 in Dead Space 3, the video game, is named History’s Ember and unlike previous chapters, it includes a large amount of DS3 collectibles that can be found by players.

Chapter 4 is also the first one to have optional missions where players can search for even more Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 collectibles.

After meeting with the team at the end of Chapter 3, Isaac must decipher some messages about the Markers, as instructed by Ellie.

The hints and tips in the next collectibles’ guide can help players who wish to find all Dead Space 3 collectables and it should be used as provided below, because the collectibles are scattered not only in the main and optional missions, but they can be found even in outer space as well.

NOTE: The guide doesn’t include the Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 Collectibles featured in co-op missions.

Log #1 (Text Log)

The chapter begins right where Isaac meets the team, and if you turn left you can see the first Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 Log on a crate near the Bench.

Weapon Part #1 (Plasma Core)

From the same position where you picked up the first Text Log, you turn around and behind the boxes you can find the first Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 weapon part.

Circuit #1 (+1 Damage)

In the same room with the two collectibles mentioned above, near the Bench and behind the place where you picked up the Text Log, is a SCAF improvised tent.

If you look inside, between the mattresses, you can see the first Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 Circuit. You just have to use Kinesis in order to get it.

You continue with the mission until a cutscene is triggered in the Admiral’s Quarters.

In this room, near the window, is an Earth Gov Artifact, the first Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 Artifact.

You pick up the previous DS3 collectible and then you turn around to see Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 Log #2, up the small stairs, in the corner.

In the same room as above, you can collect the third Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 Log.

It is on the desk near the couch.

Circuit #2 (+1 Clip)

Next, you follow the waypoint until you reach the door that leads to the Repair Bay.

While facing that door, if you turn right you can see another unlocked door that leads to a storage room (Storage Room 2A5).

You need to enter the storage room and access the fuse box on the wall in order to receive the second Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 Circuit, which increases the clip size by 1.

Blueprint #1 (Shotgun)

The first Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 Blueprint (which is also the first Blueprint in the videogame) can be found in the same storage room with the first Circuit collectible, near a dead body.

Artifact #2 (S.C.A.F. Artifact 06)

After meeting with Ellie you continue until you get outside in space. Outside, you move forward to see a lowered “ditch” across the ship’s hull.

In that lowered space, at approximately 100m from the main objective, you can find the second Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 Artifact, which is actually the sixth S.C.A.F. Artifact collectible.

Shortly after getting outside, you intercept an encrypted message broadcasted from the research vessel C.M.S. Greely which triggers the first optional mission in Dead Space 3.

Now, you have the choice to either continue with one of the objectives or to explore the outer space, to find more resources and Dead Space 3 collectibles.

Weapon Part #2 (Diffraction Torus)

To get the second Dead Space Chapter 4 Weapon Part you have to fly around the giant circular vessel in the center until you are near the massive structure similar to a semicircle.

The structure has a number of panels that can be destroyed (the ones with a yellow outline), some of them being larger.

If you shoot the leftmost one it should release three breakable boxes and the Diffraction Torus Weapon Part.

Circuit #3 (+1 Damage)

When you reach the Terra Nova, instead of entering the airlock you head back in outer space.

There, right in front of you, is a large wreckage (probably the largest around here). If you approach it you will see an Artifact, but that Artifact collectible belongs to Chapter 6 and it is covered later in our guide.

On the other side of the wreckage is a supply cache, and you need to open it to acquire the third Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 Circuit.

The fourth Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 Weapon Part can also be found in the cache you found the previous Circuit collectible.

Weapon Part #4 (Military Engine)

At the beginning of Chapter 6, when you use the tram to go to Aft Station section of Terra Nova, you can collect the fourth Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 Weapon Part, so you might not need to worry about it right now.

However, when you reach this location, you have to use the elevator. Before doing that you check the door on your left side (as you enter) in order to find the Military Engine Weapon Part near the locked door which requires a Tungsten Torque Bar.

Note: It seems that the two weapon parts mentioned above are counted as a single one, so regardless of which one you collect, you will only have 8 weapon parts (not counting the ones in the co-op mission).

CMS Greely Weapon Part #1 (Standard Compact Frame)

You can use the fast travel station to access the optional mission on the vessel CMS Greely.

After getting inside using the airlock, you speak with you team and you enter a room where the only available path is down, on a ladder.

There’s a small shelf inside this room where you can find the first Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 CMS Greely Weapon Part.

Next, you use the ladder to go to a lower deck and you follow the waypoint to the generator room. After dealing with the spawned Necromorphs you use the elevator to access the broadcasting room.

Inside you must solve the puzzle on the fuse box.

Then an audio log will play, which is the first Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 CMS Greely Log.

CMS Greely Circuit #1 (+1 Damage +1 Clip)

If you use the door below the fuse box with the puzzle, you will end up in the same room you accessed via the ladder (where the Bench is).

Instead of heading on the door pointed by the waypoint, you look on your right side to see another unlocked door.

This leads to a bathroom, and inside the bathroom, on the middle sink, is the first Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 CMS Greely Circuit.

CMS Greely Artifact #1 (Alien Artifact 01)

You proceed towards the objective until you arrive in an experimentation room where you get attacked by a number of enemies.

On the wall to your right (as you enter the door) there are two spaces illuminated by purple neon lights.

The second one from the door has the first Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 CMS Greely Artifact (which is also the first Alien Artifact in Dead Space 3).

The second Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 CMS Greely Weapon Part can be found later, after using TK to remove the panel to shut down the electricity.

At the end of the room with the generator you just powered off, you can collect the Electric Charge Weapon Part.

CMS Greely Log #2 (Audio Log)

Next to the previous Weapon Part collectible is the second Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 CMS Greely Log.

You have to use TK on the blue circle to activate the audio log and get the key to Engstrom’s office.

CMS Greely Weapon Part #3 (Telemetry Spike)

After you retrieve the key from the reactor room, you head back using the locator, and you use the key to open a small room near the crafting bench (in the area where you picked up the Dead Space 3 Circuit from the bathroom).

In this room you can find some Tungsten which can be used at the Bench to craft the Tungsten Torque Bar.

These bars can be used on Tungsten Torque Locks, and on the same wall with the room you opened using the keycard is a locked door where you can install a Tungsten Torque Bar.

Inside the locked room is the third Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 CMS Greely Weapon Part.

In the room where you used the Tungsten Torque Bar is a box on the wall which contains the second Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 CMS Greely Circuit.

CMS Greely Artifact #2 (S.C.A.F. Artifact 08)

After you decrypt the message inside CMS Greely, you can head outside the vessel.

There is a large L shaped chunk of a ship, which has an eagle logo on it. On one of its damaged ends is a door that can be opened using TK.

That door leads to a room where you can find the second Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 CMS Greely Artifact.

Next to the previous Dead Space 3 Artifact collectable is a large crate that can be opened in order to find the fourth Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 CMS Greely Weapon Part.

When you use the fast travel system to get to CMS Brusilov, you can see that there is a big wreckage with the number 6 (or 9) on it. Near the logo are two breakable panels.

If shot, one of the panels will reveal a Precision Tip, the first Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 CMS Brusilov Weapon Part.

On the other side of the same wreckage where you found the previous Weapon Part collectable is a door that can be opened. Inside you can see some lockers.

On the opposite side is the first Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 CMS Brusilov Artifact.

At the end of the same room is large crate that contains supplies. Among the supplies you can find the first Dead Space 3 Chapter 4 CMS Brusilov Circuit.

When you are ready you can go inside Terra Nova to complete Chapter 4 and unlock the next one in line, Expect Delays.
