In Darksiders II, Shadow Gorge is the pass that connects Stonefather’s Vale with The Fjord, and while crossing it we can find additional Darksiders II collectibles.
In the north area of the Shadow Gorge we can find a dungeon called The Shattered Forge, but if we continue to go west we will enter The Fjord.
Since near the entrance that allows us to access The Shattered Forge, we can find a Darksiders 2 Stone of Mystics, it is a good idea, to talk to Blackroot before going after this precious item, especially if we didn’t acquire the Lure Stone.
Without the Lure Stone, and Strifes Pistol (Redemption) we cant collect the Mystic Stonebite revealed by the map below.
Additionally, we have to remember that the Stonebites are required to complete the Darksiders II Sticks and Stones quest for Blackroot.
For this quest we must return any combination of three stones to Blackroot.
As a reward, Deaths stats (Health, Wrath,etc…) will increase.
What it important to know, is the fact that there are three different types of Stonebites in Darksiders II.
The red shards are known as Stones of Power, the blue shards are known as Stones of Mystics, while the yellow shards are known as Stones of Resistance.
Stone of Mystics Location
In Shadow Gorge, near the entrance to The Shattered Forge, we can find a Stone of Mystics.
We drop down to the broken bridge that is submerged in the water and look to the right of the entrance, above a big rounded shield.
We shoot the collectible with Redemption to get it.
