Hell is for Heroes is another chapter in Captain America: Super Soldier, the video game, but unlike other chapters it also features a boss fight, against the Iron Cross.
Players and fans of the game can use the following game guide, to find additional tips, tricks and strategies that will eventually help them to defeat Iron Cross.
Captain America must continue his chase for Red Skull and Zola through the Bavarian research facility.
The chapter begins when Captain America enters a control room, at the end of the previous chapter.
Objective: Find Red Skull
Explore the room and pick up the Dossiers Folder located on the desk in the middle of the chamber, then decrypt the code and open the door to the right.
Follow the corridor and you will enter a large hall.
You will see Red Skull and Zola up on a platform, but to reach it you must kill all workers inside.
Take them out quickly then go right and follow the stairs up.
Climb the ladder at the end of the platform then launch yourself up and jump on the next pole.
Advance and investigate the next platform then launch yourself using the debris on the right.
Jump from one ledge to another and stay away from the hot steams, and then, when you reach the last platform watch the cutscene.
Get ready to fight Iron Cross.
Iron Cross Boss Fight
The fight against Iron Cross can be tricky if you dont know his weak spots.
You can harm Iron Cross only if he is on his knees, and to achieve this you must hit him with the shield or a special attack.
This battle has two phases and can be completed very fast by following these rules:
During the first phase, hit Iron Cross with your shield then approach it and use normal attacks. Hit him 3 times, and when he tries to get up, hit him with the shield again. Mix the attacks all the time, to keep him on the ground.
The second phase can be difficult because Red Skull will throw explosive charges at you. The trick is to lure Iron Cross near the explosives, because this is the only way to bring him on his knees.
Dodge all the time and when Iron Cross is down, get near him and attack.
The third phase, is similar to the first one; therefore, you should use the same strategy.
After you defeat Iron Cross, use its body to launch yourself and watch the cutscene that starts.
You will unlock a new achievement/trophy called High and Low and you will also start the next chapter: When Trumpets Fade.
