BioShock Infinite Soldier’s Field Voxophones, Telescopes and Kinetoscopes

BioShock Infinite Soldier’s Field is the eighth mission in the video game, and it is unlocked after DeWitt and Elizabeth manage to escape the Battleship Bay area.

Soldier’s Field is a larger area than usual, and when DeWitt fails to call a gondola to get to the First Lady, he realizes that he must go to The Hall of Heroes in order to find something called Shock Jockey.

The BioShock Infinite collectibles in Chapter 8 are scattered around, in various places that can be easily overlooked.

Therefore, players are advised to make use of the following collectables’ guide if they want to acquire all Voxophones, Telescopes and Kinetoscopes in a single playthrough.

Kinetoscope #1

When you enter the room with the large bird in the middle, go to the area that’s on the right side. The first BioShock Infinite Soldier’s Field Kinetoscope is behind the miniature representation of Soldier’s Field.

“A City in the Sky? Impossible!”

Voxophone #1

Next, go across the room with the bird (in the opposite direction). Grab the lockpick that’s next to the locked door so that Elizabeth can unlock the door.

Once inside, get in the office that’s at the other end of the room.

You can find the first BioShock Infinite Voxophone in Soldier’s Field inside the ammo locker that’s alongside the desk.

Kinetoscope #2

Soon after you lift the gate, you will exit the building.

When the airship passes by, go through the gate and turn left. Near the ice cream shop is the second BioShock Infinite Kinetoscope in Soldier’s Field.

Voxophone #2

Now, get inside the ice cream shop (same location as above) and collect the second BioShock Infinite Soldier’s Field Voxophone that is standing on one of the tables (left side as you enter).

Now you should return to your path. Preferably, take the higher ground, pass the souvenirs booth, to find a library named Founders Books on the right side of the area.

In the library there are some stairs where you should find the third BioShock Infinite Soldier’s Field Voxophone (check the library’s other end).

When you’re done exploring, pull the lever to call the gondola.

However, nothing happens so you need to follow your waypoint inside an elevator that leads to the next area. The Hall of Heroes chapter doesn’t start here, but we decided to split the guide in this manner for convenience.
