To unlock The Truth achievement/trophy in Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD you have to find and kill six unusual targets which allow you to reveal Aveline’s true story.
Citizen E or Erudito is in fact a program implemented by Abstergo to filter and alter Aveline’s story. The program takes the shape of a human, who spawns in specific locations.
Furthermore, Citizen E can be found only after you complete certain memories; therefore, you won’t be able to find him all the time. When you get close to him, you will hear a strange voice and a green area on your map, showing that Citizen E is nearby.
To locate him you need to use Aveline’s Eagle Vision so you can mark the target. Only when the target is marked you will be able to kill it. After you assassinate a Citizen E, you will be able to trigger a cutscene showing the real events that have been removed by Abstergo.

Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD Citizen E Locations Guide
Bayou – Citizen E #1
The first Citizen E will appear during one of the main missions. W hile working on completing Eve of Saint John, or Sequence 2 – Memory 6, you will hear his voice at the end of the mission, Citizen E #1 is located in Bayou, north from San Danje.
He can’t be missed, and you will have to kill him in order to progress through the main story. After you hear his voice, switch to Aveline’s Eagle Vision and look for a slave in the small camp which represents the search area.
You should find him near a torch. Kill him using your favorite weapon.
New Orleans – Citizen E #2
The second Citizen E appears in New Orleans. When you reach the city, check the north-eastern area, close to the gate that leads to the plantation outside.
Unlike other targets, the second AC Liberation Citizen E runs around; therefore, you must catch him. A good idea is to get on a roof close to the street, and after you mark you target, perform an air-assassination, because you will notice that he is following a specific path. Wait for him if needed.
Chichen Itza – Citizen E #3
To locate and kill the third Citizen E, you must travel to Chichen Itza, but after you complete the main-mission named The Company Man, or Sequence 4 – Memory 4.
At the end of the mission, once you get the whip, check the southern area of Chichen Itza, where you should see a large Mayan Temple. Citizen E is located on top of the temple, inside the small room. If you look around you can see a slave working close to a wall. Switch to the Eagle Vision and assassinate him.
Bayou – Citizen E #4
The fourth Citizen E spawns after Sequence 5 – Memory 3, also known as Power of Voodoo. He is also located in Bayou, south of San Danje. To locate it, open you map and notice the large shipwreck east of Agate’s camp, as marked on the map below.
Travel to the shipwreck and remain on the ground. Go around it looking for a hole in the ship’s hull. Activate the Eagle Vision and you will see your target inside the ship. Get close and assassinate him.
New Orleans – Citizen E #5
The fifth Citizen E spawns in New Orleans, and it is fairly easy to find. To be able to kill him, you have to complete An Urgent Favor, or Sequence 7 – Memory 1. The moment you finish the mission, head to the central area of the city, where you will see a large church, and eventually you will hear Erudito’s voice.
The target is located on top of the church, inside the highest tower. Climb the building and the tower and you will find a female character. Turn on the Eagle Vision to mark your target, and then kill the woman.
Story Related – Citizen E #6
To find the last Citizen E in AC3 Liberation HD, you must beat the game. After the final cutscene, wait for the credits, and you will trigger a short side-mission. Citizen E is a noble located on one of the platforms in the alternate dimension. Try to find his footprints using the Eagle Vision, and then follow them to get close to your target.
Make sure that you always remain above the ground, and try to assassinate him in less than 2 minutes, to get 100% synch.
